This is a hands-on network engineering position focused on the architecture, design, development and deployment of ultra-high-speed, resilient, and scalable DC AI Clusters and Interconnects for GPU-accelerated data centers and compute clusters. • Partner with system, OS, GPU, and HPC teams to deliver scalable, highly available networks for extreme‑performance workloads.
• Implement network monitoring, telemetry, solving, and continuous performance improvement processes.
• Drive technology selection, vendor engagement, and lifecycle management for Data Center hardware and software.

• Minimum 6-8+ years of experience in building, managing and supporting large scale hybrid networks, developing automation pipelines with Python, Ruby, Go or other languages used in infrastructure automation.
• SME in networking technologies: InfiniBand, Ultra Ethernet, ROCEv2, DCQCN, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MP-BGP, VPN, L2 switching, EVPN, VxLAN, Segment Routing, MPLS.
• Experience automating network infrastructure.
• Experience using an automated configuration management system (Python Ansible, Salt, etc.).

Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot wireless, security, switching, phone, and other network-related issues reported by Cisco Meraki customers and partners.
2. Own each networking issue from initial creation to resolution.
3. Collaborate with Support team members to fix network outages, misconfigurations, and complex issues.
4. Read and analyze packet captures using Wireshark.
5. Work with Engineering and Management to diagnose and resolve critical escalated issues.
6. Contribute to Knowledge Base articles by suggesting, editing, and writing detailed content.
7. Stay updated on Meraki features and technology through training sessions, communication with Engineering and Product teams, and following industry trends.

Qualifications

1. Thorough understanding of fundamental networking protocols such as TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, etc.
2. Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with network technologies including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, and wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac).
3. Previous internship, work, or volunteer experience in a network lab environment is helpful.
4. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Description: Network Support Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining network hardware and software for our customers remote or onsite. You will work closely with our sales team and R&D departments to provide timely support and solutions to network-related problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to various data center locations across the U.S. to provide technical support and resolve operational issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing prompt resolution to minimize downtime with our support team.
• Configure and maintain network hardware and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
• Collaborate with other R&D team members to implement network upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications:

The Network Support Specialist performs moves, additions, changes, and provides continued support for all network and telephony equipment. This position works closely with the Telecom Support Supervisor to establish maintenance procedures, including preventative maintenance policies and schedules.

•Ensures the development and use of an effective preventative maintenance program suitable to meet operational objectives
•Develops troubleshooting and flowcharts for technical use in localizing and identifying probable trouble and/or faculty components for network
•Installs and configures network equipment
•Recommends changes and upgrades to college and communications network systems
•Recommends and implements approved installation and maintenance standards and policies
•Assesses current services and operations for maximum efficiency, improvements installation / maintenance production and customer satisfaction
•Provides technical support and assists in monitoring and analyzing usage and system traffic, prepares reports for the managers
