Project scopes range from big to small and brand new to renovations of historic (and beloved) structures. While drawings are seldomly produced in house, the majority of our construction drawings are produced by external Architects/Engineers hired for their services. On each project, you will act as the Owner’s Representative to provide design management of these outside resources ensuring projects are designed to Disney standards, fully coordinated with other disciplines, and compliant with codes. In close coordination with our other facilities, engineering and Imagineering disciplines, you will lead the design team to ensure all project partners and stakeholders are updated on project developments. Your tasks might include preliminary research, partial or full facility assessments, conceptual design coordination, review of construction documents, contract administration and immediate response efforts. You will also support immediate response efforts as they arise. You will report to the Manager – Architecture Projects. As aMaintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the essential systems that keep our hotels running smoothly. From HVAC, plumbing to electrical, to commercial appliances and carpentry, your work will directly impact the comfort and experience of our Guests and Cast Members.
Basic Qualifications :
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with energy management systems and CMMS software
- Previous experience performing preventative maintenance on equipment (i.e. boilers, chillers, HVAC-Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, electrical, etc.)
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required

Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off.

Position PurposeThe Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
