Job Description

The dry dock logistics manager will perform the planning and logistics management functions to support Dry Dock/Special Projects execution for the CCL fleet.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Contract and manage on-site Dry Dock Logistics providers. Responsible for performance management, development for direct reports as well as managing day-to-day activities for all 3PL, contractors, and direct reports.
  2. Establish key metrics and success criteria for projects.
  3. Responsible for timetable and deadlines to ensure timely execution for the logistics. Must elevate to upper management when issues are not occurring in a timely manner.
  4. Completely responsible for planning and execution of the logistics of all aspects of the dry docks.
  5. Manage timelines and communications with internal customers and external partners.
  6. Develop master schedule for shipping cutoffs and exception management.
  7. Responsible to successfully manage work relationships with all stakeholders.
  8. Establish procedures for reverse logistics and product returns. Conduct lessons learned at the end of each project with major stakeholders.

Required for all Jobs:

  1. Performs other duties as assigned.
  2. Complies with all policies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education/Major: bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or Engineering preferred.
  2. Work Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Logistics working with 3rd party contractors and FT EE’s.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  2. Required regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
  3. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
  4. May need to stand for long periods of time.

Travel:

  1. 40% - 50% travel.
  2. Ship/Shore based.

Work Conditions:

  1. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
  2. May be requested to work a different shift.

Compensation:

The range for this role’s base salary is $90,000 - $105,000 . Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the night shift production operations, ensuring that all production goals are met within the required time frame and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with USDA, HACCP, BRC, and SQF regulations.
  • Lead, train, and develop a diverse team of employees, promoting a positive work environment.
