ABOUT THE ROLE
The Automation Engineer is responsible for plant process control system (PCS) specification, application programming, testing, commissioning and maintenance. The incumbent applies the PCS as a tool for improvement of plant performance including rate, availability, OEE and MTBF. Other responsibilities include facilitating use of the PCS as a resource for Process, Maintenance, Production, Shipping, Environmental and Quality Departments.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Manage and maintain all process related hardware, software and documentation within the confine of the control room and server room.
- Support the maintenance and operation of plant electrical systems and troubleshooting of electrical and control system problems.
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and process control systems (ControlLogix, PLC-5, and SLC 500). Experience in instrumentation, motors, starters and VFD's, communication networks (Modbus, Modbus Plus, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.).
- Prevent downtime due to faults; continuous improvement to extend the life of existing PCS and facilitate eventual upgrade or replacement.
- Programming of Rockwell Contrologix PLC's, Factorytalk View se HMI's, plant pax,VMWare Network Virtualization.
- Support installation of new plant equipment from conception to operation. Assure integration of new systems into plant operations.
- Use of the PCS to provide information for management or other reporting functions (high degree of involvement with environmental reporting and permit compliance).
- Maintain a standard set of specifications for consistent application related to modifications or additions.
- Maintain, organize, prepare, review and revise drawings as required.
- Extensive knowledge of instrumentation, high-level control and expert systems, PLC control and machinery interlocking systems, variable speed drives and motor control systems.
- Identify improvement opportunities to maximize equipment life cycle and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Electrical Supervisor, Process Engineers to analyze, improve and document all aspects of operations.

The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness to maximize equipment availability of plant equipment at the lowest optimum sustainable maintenance cost in compliance with H&S as well as environmental rules and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Follow the rules and regulations defined by the company as well as legal requirements: support the elaboration of safety standards for their area, control releases and follow all environmental regulations.
- Systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment.
- Analysis of data collected, completed work orders, and process data in order to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders which include a detailed scope of work.
- Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents).
- Familiar with precision maintenance technologies such as laser alignment and dynamic balancing.
- Comfortable, at a hands-on level, with welding techniques and practices for industrial equipment.
- Document and monitor equipment history files.
- Tracking, analysis, and recommendations for equipment performance, cost, and life.
- Providing direction to the maintenance and purchasing groups regarding technical purchases and equipment selection.
- Ensuring inventory and source of spare parts are consistent with plant equipment reliability and economic constraints.
- Ensure implementation of equipment modification and maintenance projects with respect to costs and schedule.
- Development of long-term equipment maintenance strategies.
- Quality Assurance of Execution work done on and off-site, and of materials received.
- Participate in and lead problem-solving task forces as required.
- Ensuring inventory and source of spare parts are consistent with plant equipment reliability and economic constraints.
- Improve plant mechanical and infrastructure equipment in order to meet or exceed plant reliability and production targets.
- Provide technical support for plant activities and the maintenance functions.
- Coach/mentor plant employees.

- Follow up on completed work to ensure equipment operability and job site cleanliness.

Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques. Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Aggregate Maintenance Technician Swing Shift is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports. - Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.
- Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
- Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
- Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
- SCHEDULE: Shift differential rate paid/ Sunday off

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education : High School diploma/equivalent

Preferred experience: Operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment
Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Floating Mechanic to support operations in the Aggregate Division located in Denver, CO. The qualified incumbent will travel primarily thorough Brighton, Longmont, Greeley, and Littelton,with potential for travel to any surrounding Denver city. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a variety of plant equipment to include Loaders, Excavators, Haul Trucks, Dozers and more!
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Tests mechanical products and equipment to ensure proper performance, and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
- Repairs and replaces damaged & worn parts
- Operates and inspects heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects
- Diagnoses faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices
- Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
- Cleans, lubricates and performs routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
- Examines parts for damage and excessive wear, using micrometers or gauges
- Schedules maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keeps equipment service records
- Reads and interprets manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Stays abreast of new technology and methodology through on-the-job training and technical schools
- Adheres to all safety protocol to include confined space entry, lock-out-tag-out, working at heights, wearing appropriate safety glasses, gloves and other personal protective equipment, as well as all OSHA, MSHA requirement
- Ability to work shifts as required
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Heavy Equipment Operator/ Mechanic experience: 2-3 years minimum
