Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire Tax Analysts in New York City, New York (NY). This client has great benefits, Medical, Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k) 12 paid Holidays and great Summer Friday hours. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals with a concentration in NYS and NJ resident filings
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, subchapter S, trusts, gift, and private foundations
- Prepare and review quarterly tax estimate projections
- Prepare and review foreign filing disclosures and reports: FBAR, 926, 8621, 8886, 8865
- Respond to federal and state tax notices
- Effectively communicate with managers
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or EA preferred, or actively pursuing licensure
- 2-6 years of experience preparing and reviewing returns in the high-net-worth space with public accounting experience preferred
- Experience using GoSystem tax software, BNA income tax planner, QuickBooks, CCH Document, IntelliForms and Microsoft Office
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills to meet various tax deadlines
