About the Role

We’re hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to act as the owner’s right hand and run day-to-day operations across projects, warehouse, and field. This is a hands-on builder role, not a corporate corner office position. What You’ll Do

  • Own all day-to-day operations: project managers, superintendents, warehouse/inventory, and scheduling
  • Drive accountability and enforce SOPs across the company
  • Implement operational KPIs and dashboards (profitability, job progress, equipment tracking)
  • Reduce waste and improve efficiency — target: raise profitability from 8% → 12%
  • Build operational capacity so the company can scale to $15M+ ithout breaking systems
  • Lead and develop managers and field leaders


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in construction or specialty trades (roofing preferred, but not required)
  • Direct leadership over PMs, supers, or field ops at a company $1 M–$5 M+ in revenue
  • Experience working with documented processes, SOPs, and structured systems (non-negotiable)
  • Hands-on operator: comfortable enforcing structure, not just talking strategy
  • Strong communicator and motivator who knows how to hold teams accountable
  • Tech-friendly: comfortable with project management software, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
