The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the DoD's toughest problems.
As a leader on our team, you'll help lead the development of cloud applications. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the team and client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll use your experience to guide your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll share your skills in areas like improving cloud posture with your team and clients while developing critical systems for the DoD.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with cloud application development, including Google Cloud IAM policy and user and role management to enforce least-privilege access, and managing Google Cloud services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Functions
8+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex cloud applications at enterprise scale
2+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments
2+ years of experience working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
2+ years of experience developing and deploying microservice architectures
Experience with IAC tools such as Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager
Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux and Windows server systems in the Cloud
Ability to work independently and in teams
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
