*STV is seeking a Project Manager, Historic Preservation for our PM/CM group in Connecticut.
The experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record of overseeing restoration, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects involving historically significant structures. Demonstrated expertise in managing preservation-sensitive construction activities while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal historic preservation guidelines, including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Lead pre-construction meetings to ensure project goals and expectations are clearly defined.

Budget and Financial Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring the project stays within budget.
Review and approve project invoices and payment applications.
Provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders, highlighting potential cost overruns or savings.
Team Leadership & Communication:
Lead and supervise project teams, including architects, engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors.
Serve as the primary point of contact between all project stakeholders (school district, contractors, consultants, local authorities, and the community).
Organize and lead regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes, zoning laws, and environmental standards.
Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed on-site to protect workers, students, and staff.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals before commencing construction.
Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
Ensure any changes to project scope, schedule, or budget are documented and communicated to stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor construction work to ensure it meets established quality standards and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control.
Ensure that final construction is thoroughly inspected and completed to satisfaction before handover.
Post-Construction & Handover:
Ensure all necessary documentation, warranties, and manuals are provided at project completion.
Oversee the transition of the completed project to the school district, ensuring that all operational needs are met.
Coordinate post-construction inspections and punch lists for project close-out.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP, or similar credentials are preferred.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience-

Skills & Abilities:

We're seeking Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Soil/Geotechnical Engineers, as well as Hydrologists, Environmental Planners, Biologists, Archeologists, Certified Floodplain Managers, Project Managers with Environment and Historic Preservation expertise, and Architectural Historians to deploy to Kansas City, Missouri and West Des Moines, Iowa to support FEMA in providing services to their applicants. You'll help deliver the Public Assistance grant process (from applicant assignment to exit briefing) for applicants in the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. You could write Project Worksheets (PWs) for the purposes of determining project eligibility, scopes of work and estimating costs to repair or replace a facility or structure in order to restore it to its pre-disaster design. We'll lean on you to provide technical, cost estimating, and disaster recovery and/or management services while supporting technical professionals. You'll be a key member of the team in assisting project managers or PDMG's in major segments of moderate to complex projects or tasks, and independently conducting projects involving the evaluation of disaster-affected locations. For our FEMA client, qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to clear Department of Homeland Security background check for security clearance level of "Public Trust", and open to working 8-12 hours per day for 5-6 days per week. You'll deploy Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska in remote disaster conditions, and most of the job responsibilities will be conducted in a FEMA office. Due to the awarding of this Task Order, you must be ready to mobilize within 24-48 hours of official notice, commit to deploying for up to 6 months or longer, and be flexible for contingent type of project work.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**General Statement of Duties:**
The specialist participates as a member of the transplant team by providing deceased donor organ pulsatile perfusion and organ procurement services for the organ transplant departments. The specialist also assists the organ transplant surgeons during the deceased and living donor transplants by preparing the donor organs and assisting the transplant surgeon with the exposure of the recipient blood vessels in preparation for transplant.
**Essential Job Functions:**
1. Performs cadaveric renal perfusion services for Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital.
2. Performs procurements for all organs, which includes, but is not limited to excising the organ, as well as preparing cadaveric organs prior to placement on the renal preservation device or into the recipient.
3. Provides surgical assistance to all solid organ surgeons during donor and recipient surgeries.
4. Participates in 24 hour on call duties shared by all procurement/preservation staff.
5. Responsible for renal preservation equipment, as well as ordering/tracking supplies.
6. Participates in data collection for procurement/preservation processes, as well as other transplant processes and United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) data, and reports statistical results upon request.
