GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Security Engineer with an active Secret clearance to lead the architecture, engineering, integration, development, and/or deployment of network and security devices, applications, and tools in an enterprise environment. This position will be located in Arlington, VA and will be a fully remote within the United States position.

+ Lead the architecture, engineering, integration, development, and/or deployment of network and security devices, applications, and tools in an enterprise environment.
+ Work with network monitoring and intrusion detection, host-based and network-based IDS, and log management applications. Recommend upgrades and new components for DEA approval.
+ Install, test, patch, and upgrade computer hardware and operating systems (Windows and Unix) in an enterprise environment.
+ Leverage tools such as SourceFire, ArcSight, Splunk, Net Witness, Guidance Software, Digital Guardian, Raytheon (SureView), NMAP, Request Tracker, Nagios, Intelliview, Nessus, and Foundstone to provide direct support for WAN, LAN, Wireless, Mobile, and VPN networks.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's with 15+ years network security (or commensurate experience)
+ Active Secret Clearance Required, plus the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability

**Posted Pay Range**
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $165,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
