We are currently seeking candidates to fill a temp-to-hire General Production position for a manufacturing facility in Channahon, IL. Candidates must have at least 6 months of recent light industrial experience.
The schedule is 12-hour shifts Monday (night) into Friday (morning).
Night shift: 6:00PM-6:15AM
$17.50 hour

- Work on a production line doing machine feeding, machine operating, packaging, and/or assembly

**Order Fulfillment and Loading**
+ Build orders for dock routes per invoice in a timely and accurate manner through case picking or on the bottle line.
+ Load route trucks with product per the computerized schematics.
**Equipment Operation and Maintenance**
+ Perform daily inspection of assigned warehouse equipment and reports any deficiencies.
+ Move product by safely and responsibly operating material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, reach truck, keg fork dock stocker, slip-sheet lift, de-layer, clamp truck, double pallet jack and floor scrubber, as needed.
**Safety and Compliance**
+ Safely and properly handling shipments and replenishment of product.

What Will You be Doing?
- Obtains product labels/pick sheets and verifies product and size before placing on pallet
- Performs qualify control on products picked
- Stretch wraps finished pallets
- Ensures that warehouse equipment is sufficiently recharged in preparation for next shift
- Performs other duties as assigned, delegated or required
What Experience, Skills, and Attributes Will You Need to Be Successful?
- 1 – 3 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to count highs and ties on a pallet using basic math
- Demonstrated experience operating a standing forklift and/or electric pallet jack
- Employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
