Required Qualifications:

• 8 years' IT experience with at least 5 years' experience focused on cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management
• 3 years' experience managing hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services
• 3 years' experience managing cloud infrastructure supporting 1,000+ users across multiple geographic locations
• 2 years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, or Terraform
• 2 years' experience with cloud migration projects to include virtual machine migration from on-premises to Azure, and technical expertise in Azure cloud services

Required Certifications:

The Cloud Architect position, a crucial role in supporting a government customer, is a hands-on cloud engineering position that primarily focuses on migrating workloads to the cloud. The role is pivotal in delivering infrastructure migrations to the cloud for highly sensitive information and maintaining ownership of technical and service elements related to cloud migration projects. The Cloud Architect contributes to all levels of architecture and maintains technical documentation while consulting team members on secure coding practices and developing a familiarity with new tools and best practices. Develops and enriches the product portfolio of cloud services and value-added services. Creates solution recommendations to include a Basis of Estimate for cloud services.
