Job Description
Tesla is seeking a dynamic and agile individual to support the ever evolving and growing global business. As part of Tesla's Global Security Operations Center team, this contributing role is responsible for assessing, troubleshooting, and triaging inbound emergency and routine calls for security support. The ideal candidate has a bias for action, is trustworthy, and consistently demonstrates excellence.
Reporting to the GSOC Associate Manager, this position has a diverse set of responsibilities hybridizing that of a security operator, business intelligence and threat analyst, and customer service representative. They will regularly communicate with stakeholders and must be comfortable making independent judgements when time is of the essence. This role in based in Fremont, CA and has an in-person requirement.
What You'll Do- Coordinate with security teams and other partners during emergency and routine events; dispatching external agencies when required both local and globally
- Conduct investigative video or other investigative reviews and provide reports
- Monitor all systems used within the operation and triage/escalate alarms or alerts accordingly
- Monitor open-source and other intelligence gathering tools to identify potential threats to Tesla and its assets
- Author and distribute emergency or business critical advisories/alerts including; risk assessments for travel, geographic market, escalating events, natural disasters, threat assessments, and other events as deemed of business interest
- Support the travel team with travel safety monitoring, secured transportation arrangements, and high-risk travel coordination
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in physical security operations, risk management, lossprevention, emergency preparedness or law enforcement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Demonstrates an independent problem-solving analytical mindset
- Must be able to obtain a security license, valid driver's license required, travel as required and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Familiarity as an end user with various security systems and technologies; video management/review systems, electronic access control, emergency notifications, alarms, and standard office software
- Ability to remain calm, appropriately triage/multi-task, and handle high stress situations in a fast-paced environment

Deep knowledge and experience with SAP modules specific to the automotive sector, such as: SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP QM (Quality Management), SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

Experience in SAP solutions specifically designed for the automotive sector, such as SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS), SAP Dealer Business Management (DBM), and SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII).

Experience or exposure to global automotive manufacturing, with an understanding of how different regions, regulations, and supply chains impact SAP solution design and implementation.
