• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent
• At least three years of patent prosecution experience at U.S. law firms in electrical/electronics and mech-electrical technologies, preferably including OLED flat panel displays, EV battery cells, AI-based systems, and home appliances
• At least two years of USPTO examiner experience is preferred

• Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally across various technologies.
• Manage and maintain patent portfolios for a diverse range of clients, from startups to large corporations.
• Advise clients on intellectual property strategy, including patent filing, enforcement, and licensing.
• Represent clients in patent litigation matters, including claim construction, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses and provide infringement opinions.
• Negotiate and draft licensing agreements and other IP-related contracts.
• Stay current with changes in patent law and relevant technologies.
• Mentor junior attorneys and patent agents, providing guidance and oversight.
• Collaborate with technical experts and clients to understand complex inventions and develop effective IP strategies.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one state and registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology). A Master's or Ph.D. is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in patent law, with a significant focus on patent prosecution and/or litigation.
