A Loan Officer helps individuals and businesses apply for and obtain loans. They evaluate loan applications, explain loan options, and guide clients through the approval process. Loan Officers work with banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions to ensure loans are processed accurately and in compliance with regulations.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The loan officer is responsible for all operations related to loan applications such as monitor, loan processing, closing and servicing the loan. The Loan officer will build strong customer relationships for the Credit Union and make sure it maximizes the benefits and services to the membership.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages a portfolio of all types of loan/depository accounts. Responsible for prospecting new customers and cross-selling other banking services.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Prospects new customers and solicits new loans. Cross-sells other banking services to new and existing customers. Maintains on-going customer contact to ensure good customer relations.
