Key job responsibilities
As a senior Software Development Engineer for Cinder, you will (a) partner with teams across the organization worldwide to build robust scalable extensible solutions to realize their goals, (b) drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of our ad-serving systems via your own contribution and experimentation and the leadership of others, and (c) invent and deliver initiatives to simplify our systems, reduce the unit cost to serve, and improve reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results on an ad exchange at scale, be detail-oriented, data-driven, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Come build the future of data streaming with the Amazon Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) team!
We are seeking builders for our Amazon MSK service, a fully managed service that makes it easy for customers to build and run applications that use Apache Kafka to process streaming data. We are looking for engineers who are enthusiastic about data streaming, and are as passionate about contributing to open source as they are about solving real customers' business needs, at AWS scale.
As a member of the Amazon MSK team, you will be making contributions to the entire stack - the APIs and the workflows that make up the MSK service, the core Kafka platform, and stand-alone tools that make it easier for Kafka community to operate Kafka better. Upstream compatibility is a core tenet of MSK. Your code changes to the Kafka platform will be released back to open source. + Work closely with Software Engineers to understand the complex ecosystem in place at DEEP&T
+ Develop automated test frameworks and suites on UI, API and Integration levels of testing using java, python or other OO language
+ Participate in design discussions for our platform to help evolve the platform in a way that enables richer testing scenarios that simplify defect detection and prevention
+ Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across teams.
+ Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests
+ Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases to detect issues that cannot be detected through automated means
+ Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible
+ Developing and supporting high quality code to build and enhance automation, quality infrastructure, and innovative proof-of-concepts

**Responsibilites**
