Priority1, a privately held third-party logistics company, is seeking a Business Development Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for generating a consistent weekly stream of new qualified prospects at the beginning stage of the sales pipeline for our Business Development Specialist to pursue. This is a role that supports the Business Development efforts based out of Tempe, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new qualified leads to a team of Business Development specialist
- Utilize resume posting boards, LinkedIn, and Google Boolean search strategies to cultivate new leads Serve as the primary resource for the researching and prospecting of qualified new business leads via Internet, media, directories, referrals and other resources
- Provide an ongoing pipeline to the Business Development Team
- Research and target prospects using a variety of sales tools
- Proactively seek new ways to generate leads
- Process and maintain leads in prospecting database; manage contact information and leads in CRM tool
- Have strong communication skills to work directly with our Business Development Team
- Monitor industry trends, competitive intelligence and market conditions relative to specific service offering(s) and communicate appropriately to departmental and organizational leaders
- Help provide leads through social media efforts such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms
- Work with sales teams to grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly revenue goals
