About the Role:
The position is responsible for the coordination of receiving, segregation, sorting, and storage of human blood plasma in preparation of plasma production runs in the Teardown department.Lead Operator will perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for the Automated Plasma Dispositioning System (APDS) Manual Sorting Line.Under the direction of Management, Lead Operator is responsible for executing all processes in production, while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and other related regulations that could apply.Lead Operator is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams when applicable, as well as lead assigned projects. Assigned training records must be kept up to date.Due to business need, employees may be required to work overtime and/or support operations on an alternate shift.
How you will Contribute:
- Support all Plasma Operations manufacturing activities by performing plasma loading, carton opening/disposal, truck receiving, and inventory management using MES, APDS, and JDE systems.
- Lead day-to-day floor operations by coordinating schedules, training, breaks, and coaching team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to production plans.
- Oversee the sorting, segregation, and disposition of plasma units-including those marked "On Hold" or "Quarantine"-ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and GDP documentation standards.

- May handle hazardous waste removal in compliance with environmental health and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED plus 6+ years of related experience, or AA or higher with 4+ years of experience required.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
- Proven experience leading or coordinating production floor activities in a regulated industry
