You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining invaluable skills in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and safety procedures within a hybrid work environment that balances field service with classroom instruction and potentially some remote learning modules for theoretical subjects.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting senior technicians with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine components, including blades, gearboxes, and generators.
  • Learning to use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Performing routine checks and tests to ensure optimal turbine performance and safety.
  • Participating in scheduled maintenance activities and responding to unscheduled service needs.
  • Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures for working at heights and in industrial environments.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
  • Understanding and applying electrical and mechanical principles relevant to wind turbine operation.
  • Contributing to a clean and organized work environment at the turbine sites and the workshop.
  • Completing assigned training modules and coursework related to wind energy technology.
  • Developing proficiency in climbing and working safely at significant heights.
