**Basic Qualifications:**

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $15,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. POSITION SUMMARY:
Mechanical systems technicians are responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment and ensuring a high level of reliability at asphalt and light product terminals. Technicians provide the expertise to maintain, repair and replace mechanical, electrical, and vapor control equipment beyond that typically handled by terminal operations. This position will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana . A Maintenance vehicle, tools, equipment, and uniforms are provided. Technicians must be able to pass the DOT Medical Guidelines required to operate the maintenance vehicles. Equipment typically maintained by mechanical specialists includes vapor control systems, oil/water separators, water accumulation tanks, pumps, motors, asphalt mills, meters, actuators, etc. This position will be expected to develop proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting associated with vapor control systems. Although technicians have assigned areas of coverage, they may be requested to assist other mechanical technicians, complete project work, or provide training to others outside their assigned geographical area. They must develop and maintain an effective working relationship with terminal operations personnel and peers. Technicians must be highly motivated, self-directed and have strong decision-making skills.

+ When necessary, respond to emergency repairs.
+ Work with district engineers, support engineers, reliability engineers, maintenance specialists and project managers to provide input on new equipment installations concerning equipment reliability and maintainability.
+ Work with operations and purchasing personnel, suppliers and contractors' representatives to purchase parts, supplies and materials; and to arrange for performance of services, discuss contract work and resolve problems.
+ Use Mobility and PC based maintenance management system to update work orders, purchase material, report maintenance issues, and track equipment history.
+ Maintain all inspection records and trip log information as required by DOT.

**Job Description**
**AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced need Sr-Level Mechanical Systems Inspector Position to support the** **US Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Benning, GA near Columbus, GA** **. This is an onsite,** **full-time position.**
**Duties Shall Generally Include:**
+ Provide daily inspections to ensure construction conforms to plans and specifications,
+ Review of submittals and RFI's and monthly pay requests.
+ Preparing IGE for contract modifications.
+ Provide oversight and management of testing, adjusting and balance of building commissioning
+ Provide daily oversight for mechanical systems TAB, controls PVT and building commissioning.
+ Attendance of all mechanical and plumbing meetings and providing input on effectively meeting all Requests for Proposal (RFP) and design requirements.
+ Attendance of all warranty inspections and support in attaining and maintaining the contractual warranty.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ HS + 10 Years of relevant experience in construction practices, engineering, procedures, and testing, and large vertical DoD construction projects.
+ 3 years commissioning experience.
+ Due to the nature of the project US citizenship is required.
+ Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks.
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
+ Up to 50% of the time the position needs to move about indoor and outdoor construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions including heat, dusts, noise, moisture, and dryness.
+ Occasionally (10-25% of workday) performing repetitive bending/stooping, repetitive or fine hand movements, working at heights, and lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 25 pounds.
+ At times the position requires working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), climbing stairs, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting greater than 25 pounds.
+ The position requires wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing and building control systems
+ Experience using RMS
+ Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification (CQM-C)
+ USACE experience

Our Landing Gear Design team is looking for a Mechanical Systems Designer in Poway, CA. that wants to be a part of history by participating in the development of some of the most novel remotely piloted aircraft of our time. We are looking for a Designer with experience in 3-D CAD modeling and drafting landing gear systems and mechanisms. With guidance from engineers, this position requires conceptualization and CAD development of components and systems within the landing gear system and includes creation of detail, assembly and installation level engineering drawings.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Using guidance from engineers, conceptualize and communicate with CAD models design solutions that meet program requirements.
+ Make evaluations and calculations such as tolerance stack up, part-to-part interface compatibility, and producibility.
+ Create engineering drawing types including but not limited to test, detail parts, assembly and installation, suitable for use in fabrication and assembly of aircraft components.
+ Create engineering change requests and change notices to facilitate quick and efficient revisions to engineering drawings, including participation in the drawing release process.
+ May be assigned design oversight of a sizeable portion of a project or program.
+ Validates conformity to design standards and specifications and identifies design errors and other deficiencies and recommends changes.
+ Remains current in CAD techniques and any applicable state of the art engineering design software applications.
