Required Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in mathematics education or closely related field; ABD candidates with planned completion dates by August 15, 2026, will be considered. A minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience in middle and/or high school math classrooms is required. A demonstrated interest in teaching at the undergraduate level and a defined research agenda with presentations and/or publications in science education are necessary qualifications. Preferred Qualifications:
To be considered at the rank of Associate Professor, applicants must: a) currently hold the rank of Associate Professor at an accredited institution of higher education, b) have a record of highly effective teaching, c) have a well-established research agenda, and d) have evidence of continuous service. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level and working with pre-service teachers, as well as significant professional engagement with middle and secondary faculty in public schools is preferred.
