Additional Information About the Role

BJC is looking for an RN with Occupational Health experience to join the team in an important role.  Ideal RN will be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and enjoys working with patients in a clinic providing hands-on nursing care. 

The Occupational Health RN assesses employees for visits related to work related injuries/illnesses and required occupational exams, delivers treatments and testing (i.e. wound care, immunizations, phlebotomy, vision/hearing, drug screening, spirometry), documents per regulatory standards, and supports return to work coordination and referrals. 

  • 40 hours per week on site at Boeing
  • Dayshift Monday-Friday
  • 7:30am-4:00pm
  • No weekends or holidays!

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

    The base pay range for this position is $145,500 - $193,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 10/6/2025.

    Position responsibilities:

    • Hire, develop, retain, and lead a geographically distributed SEIT organization (up to 80 direct reports). Own staffing plans, resource allocation, and workforce development.

    • Oversee execution on up to 20 concurrent projects spanning requirements, architecture, design, HW/SW development, integration, verification & validation, certification/qualification, and production handoff.

    • Provide technical leadership and quality oversight for certification artifacts (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP-4754) and qualification artifacts for DoD programs. Defend technical approaches with FAA/DoD/corporate stakeholders.
