Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections efficiently and expertly.
Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify and resolve automotive issues.
Repairs: Conduct repairs including engine tune-ups, brake replacements, and electronic systems troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Engine and transmission replacement. Driveline and HVAC diagnosis and replacement.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and service timelines. Use tablets and computers to send customers videos and pictures of issues with their vehicle.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service.
Continuous Education: Stay informed on the latest technologies and repair techniques in Ford vehicles through ongoing training and certification programs.
Requirements
Experience: Prior experience as an auto technician, preferably with Ford vehicles.
Certification: ASE certification is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of automotive systems and an ability to use diagnostic equipment and IRIS.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and an aptitude for finding efficient solutions.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy parts and working in various positions.
Communication: Excellent verbal skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Job duties include working with clients and other sales staff to sell vehicles, greet clients, and provide product information, demonstrating products and features to clients, working with management staff to negotiate vehicle prices, using computers, phones, and social networking sites to follow up with active prospects in order to build rapport, referrals, and future sales, attending sales meetings and trainings and assisting with showroom and vehicle lot displays.
Candidates must be willing to work weekend and evening shifts, have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, have a good driving record and valid driver license.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, travel to out-of-town training events is infrequent but required, candidates may spend up to ¼ of work shift using computers or phones, use of snow removal tools required, majority of job duties will be completed by standing and/or walking throughout work shift and lifting may be required up to 20 pounds rarely.
