The Luxury Brands Marketing Strategy team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of Hilton's Luxury brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.
What will I be doing?
Reporting into the Luxury Brand Team, the Vice President, Luxury Brands Marketing Strategy will partner closely with the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts brand heads on all things brand marketing. The VP will drive the strategic development of global brand positioning and lead the creation of high-impact marketing initiatives to drive revenue, grow market share, build brand loyalty, and drive brand health for the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts brands.
In this role, you will set strategic direction, align cross functional teams to execute campaigns, and drive business outcomes. You will establish strong interaction models across a diverse set of stakeholders and pivot as needed in response to dynamic market condition and build momentum and buy-in for your ideas with data, insights, and storytelling.
More Specifically You Will
- Partner with Brand Heads to lead the development of the brand positioning and execution of marketing globally (brand and performance), in conjunction with functional centers of excellence (media, creative, communications, loyalty), and create a high-impact physical and digital presence that drives brand differentiation that commands a market premium.
- Identify core research, analytics, and metrics to inform consumer insights, drive efficiency of marketing executions, and develop strong, engaging creative media strategies.
- Lead creative agencies of record to ensure positive relationships and facilitate groundbreaking, world-class work.
- Partner with our Creative and Media Teams and agencies to plan and implement go-to-market strategies to achieve brand goals.
- Actively partner to continuously improve the guest experience – and brand signatures and rituals – at our luxury hotels – pre, post, and during the Stay.
- Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to improve return on investment.
- Provide direction to and collaborate with current and prospective hotels, management companies, and Owners to ensure high-impact performance and halo the brand through marquee openings and other activity
- Develop strategic partnerships that are linked to global strategies to build relationships with third parties and reach new audiences, working with Partnership team partners
- Collaborate with and influence key partners in the matrix, and actively manage stakeholders up, down, and diagonally across the enterprise, with a focus on Owners, Regional Leadership, Category and Global Brand Heads, and Brand Performance Support
- Develop and manage the brand marketing budget, including ratio of working to non-working dollars and monthly/quarterly forecasting and actuals reconciliation
- Recruit and nurture top talent, and foster a high performing environment that builds a performance-driven, dynamic, highly engaged team
What are we looking for?
Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Proven expertise leading Brand Marketing Strategy for a global, complex matrix company – ideally in the luxury and/or luxury travel or hospitality category
- Collaboration and partnering skills to serve as a trusted advisor to our senior brand management leaders, Hotel Owners (franchisees) and other key partners (such as hotel operators, Commercial Services peers, Finance, Legal, Communications)
- Experience leading global marketing teams and working in a Center of Excellence (CoE) marketing model
- Creative and collaborative leader who brings entrepreneurial energy to existing and new business opportunities
- Deep understanding of customer-centric, modern marketing (content, social, culture, CRM, etc.)
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Ten (10) years in consumer and brand marketing – primarily within large, global consumer brand company(ies) – ideally in the luxury and/or luxury travel or hospitality category
- Five (5) years of experience leading department operations, including strategy, talent and budgets
- Five (5) years in a Senior Director+ leadership role responsible for brand marketing strategy

POSITION SUMMARY :
As the leader of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for the Marmon Railyard & Repair Services portfolio of companies. In this role, you will have direct oversight over the day-to-day activities of the marketing team. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, innovation, human resources and business leadership, to create and implement comprehensive internal and external marketing plans that drive business growth to achieve company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy and a proven track record of success in developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns. This is a newly created role reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and offers the chance for the chosen applicant to demonstrate proactivity and put your unique stamp on the job role and responsibilities. This is a remote role with a high level of team engagement via video conference with the expectation of interacting on-camera to drive team engagement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Overview
Head of Digital Marketing Strategy role at Philips. You will own developing and leading an end-to-end Digital Strategy for our Philips Health System Businesses, globally. You will be responsible for partnering closely with marketing leaders across all our business units to develop a digital strategy fit for future which will drive us to new levels of business and customer impact. This Global Digital Strategy Leader joins us at an exciting and pivotal time in our transformation journey.
Your Role- Develops a comprehensive E2E Digital Strategy and Roadmap to evolve our capabilities and grow our Global digital order book by delivering on business and customer impact goals. Works closely with region and business teams across disciplines to build a comprehensive and underpinned holistic strategy while gaining buy-in and alignment to ensure success.
- Develops an impact focused digital marketing technology strategy and approach and leverage a team of digital platform SMEs to implement and drive this globally; engage and negotiate with IT and Operational leadership to align and secure support. Manages deployment manager resources to ensure our highest priority, most complex and cross-functional programs are executed on time, per plan, and achieve intended outcomes.
- Infuses the best of outside-in thinking combined with internal best practices to form a winning future direction for our digital ecosystem. Leverages digital trends from the healthcare industry, emerging technologies, competitor activities and market dynamics to drive innovation and differentiation. Responsible for delivering the E2E Digital Strategy to the Marketing Leadership Council (all senior marketing leaders across Philips) and for gaining buy-in, alignment, and support to the plan.
- Develops and maintains a wide network of internal stakeholders and advocates and negotiates for support across several functions (Businesses, Regions, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, etc.) to build strong relationships and facilitate open communication to drive consensus and enable successful execution.
- Owns development of business cases to support the Digital Strategy, Roadmap, and Plan, garnering support and alignment to digital program costs and ROI.
- You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, developing and leading Digital Strategy required; global and regional digital strategy development, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences, diagnostics, or pharma industry; agency experience and working in a matrixed environment a plus; deep understanding of customer decision journeys and digital engagement strategies; Marketing Technology landscape, with experience defining requirements and driving teams to develop needed solutions to support the digital strategy and customer and stakeholder needs. Experience working in a large global company required.
- Your skills include a performance-oriented mindset with a track record of owning and achieving/exceeding KPIs; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior executives; demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a cross-functional team setting.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field, required, MBA preferred.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $176,000 to $282,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
