Krispy Kreme's Brand & Marketing Strategy Manager is a strategic, proactive, and results-oriented marketer, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive consumer demand, brand relevance, and profitable sales growth. Reporting to the Director, Brand & Marketing Strategy, this individual will partner with their Marketing and cross-functional peers including Finance, Demand Planning, Product Strategy, and Insights & Analytics to build, optimize, and maintain a traffic-driving calendar, aligning product launches, discounts, pricing, and media/activation efforts to maximize sales impact and support revenue goals. The Manager, Brand & Marketing Strategy role has a general management tone that includes P&L visibility, including development of strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate and brand volume, profit and share objectives. We're looking for a highly collaborative marketing athlete who is simultaneously comfortable leading cross-functional teams and rolling up their sleeves to bring an annual plan to market. A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Retail Planning: Partner with Finance to outline annual retail financial goals and ensure robust plan is in place across all retail business lines: in-shop, digital, fundraising, gift cards, etc. Partner with Finance and Analytics to report out ongoing performance in weekly, monthly, and quarterly increments, explaining variance to plan and drivers. Serve as subject matter expert on retail financial goals and risks / opportunities. Support development and execution of the annual and long-term strategy and planning for the business, partnering with Director, Brand & Marketing Strategy and cross-functional peers to deliver business expectations. Partner with Finance and Demand Planning to forecast marketing-driven initiatives, including LTOs, Innovation, Offers, and more. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the consumer, category, competition, and trends, transforming into insights and opportunities to grow the brand, strengthen brand equity, and extend the gap vs. key competitors Calendar Strategy & Menu Optimization: Ideate, outline and commercialize annual calendar strategic approach, inclusive of products (core + innovation), offers, and more. Identify and brief Product Strategy partners on innovation opportunities, and leverage Finance /Analytics support to build business case and forecasts as necessary Partner with Insights on Brand level learning agenda, including consumer behaviors/motivations, concept testing, and more. Assist in articulating the business challenge and insights that lead to development of promotions, advertising activity and other demand drivers to grow the total business and market share Identify and translate insights into recommendations for business initiatives and/or actionable tasks to drive results and deliver against business goals Pricing and Discounting: Plan monthly offer calendar in partnership with Finance and Analytics, maximizing sales impact and ensuring overall profitability Partner with Analytics on base pricing strategy, overseeing and implementing any tests or pricing rollouts Report out on business discount rate, offer-driven incremental sales, and profitability Brand Stewardship: Serve as a liaison with agency and cross-functional partners to ensure effective and efficient translation of marketing strategies into annual plans Support brand budget management, including making recommendations on budget allocation to optimize planned spend Develop campaign KPIs and corresponding tactics consistent with the brand positioning and consumer target; ensure consistent expression of brand in all consumer touchpoints while delivering against brand, financial and business objectives. Your Role

The Marketing Strategy Manager will be responsible for ideating, scoping, and executing marketing strategies to grow O Positiv's customer lifetime value. This is a highly strategic and analytical role and features opportunities to creatively score long-term gains across multiple customer segments.

This role will own emerging marketing channels focused on existing customers, specifically how to drive continued demand and increase customer retention and satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities can include both internal and external stakeholder management for example, presenting new projects to leadership to win back past subscribers, managing vendor relationships, and partnering with creatives and data to shape marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone who is hyper-analytical and data-obsessed, with a self-starter and ownership mindset. The ideal candidate will be able to manage marketing initiatives from end-to-end (conception to analysis to scaling recommendation), can collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and should ensure all projects are executed within deadlines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

This role reports to the Head of Retention and will be highly cross-functional, collaborating across the acquisition, retention, digital, product, data, and creative teams at O Positiv.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ideate, scope, and design effective marketing strategies to find new ways to win and grow customer lifetime value
  • Prioritize marketing and testing initiatives with ROI assessments and a strong bias towards impact
  • Own and manage emerging marketing channels aimed at boosting repeat purchase and customer winback
  • Define and manage reporting on LTV metrics on new projects to measure success
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (creative, retention, e-commerce, data, etc) to effect marketing strategies
  • Partner with Product Growth leads to define key pathways for cross-selling and retention

Qualifications and Skills

Determine and align the marketing priorities for investment along with KPIs. Work with Segment Marketing teams, CMO, and VBG leadership to ensure alignment on all Marketing activities. Monitor market trends for new practices and technologies that will improve and optimize marketing performance. Build collaboration, partnership, and support the strategic direction with Segment Marketing teams, CMO, and BU leadership. Partner cross-functionally in VBG to help tell the Marketing story. Use customer feedback to inform marketing programs and promote client satisfaction. Provides analysis and recommendations to the marketing and content team. Analyze sales and marketing key performance indicators to inform marketing efforts. Ensures marketing strategies align with overall business strategy. Align with the segment marketing teams to identify top marketing priorities for annual planning. Regularly review and revise plans based on performance, changing market conditions and business priorities. The role will lead the design of the marketing strategies, process and channel plans relative to the client’s Business brand activations, campaigns, promotions and products. Individual Responsibilities: Gather and distill insights on marketing trends and technologies and competitive threats from internal and external sources to frame strategic recommendations. Partner with business leaders to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and overall business objectives for Global Enterprise, International and Small/Medium Business segments in order to frame strategic recommendations. Collaborate with segment marketing, CMO, product teams and cross-marketing organizations to build the VBG Marketing Strategy, Plan, Calendar and messaging. Collaborate with the segment marketing teams to create comprehensive marketing plans that leverage data insights and industry trends to drive market share growth, brand awareness, and lead generation. The Universal Television Entertainment Group (UTEG) is seeking a strategic and analytical marketer to join our Marketing Strategy team. The Manager, Marketing Strategy will work closely with the Vice President, Marketing Strategy to develop campaign strategies with a focus on growing the Peacock platform and brand. In this role, you will help set and execute the ongoing brand vision for Peacock and develop analysis and materials that inform cross-functional decision-making. Grounding work in data and consumer insights, the Manager, Marketing Strategy will help to identify the most effective ways for Peacock to cultivate audience affinity, acquire new customers, and engage its growing customer base. You may also contribute to title measurement and prioritization across UTEG and play a role in the bid process for sports properties.

Critical to the success of this role is a high aptitude for aligning high-level objectives into tangible business KPIs and a passion for developing new strategic frameworks.   • Working closely with Decision Sciences and the Content Analytics teams, analyze data to track the performance of key content and marketing campaigns

  • Proactively identify opportunities to acquire, engage, and retain users
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of consumer and/or entertainment marketing strategy experience
  • Versatile communicator, comfortable conversing with stakeholders across disciplines from creative teams to finance teams
  • Analytical individual with a high degree of comfort utilizing data and financials to support their day-to-day work
  • Strong storyteller with demonstrated writing and presentations skills who brings strategies to life in compelling, easily understood ways
  • Excellent collaborator who builds relationships with ease and rallies people around a common vision
  • A fast learner with a high capacity, able to track and execute multiple projects simultaneously
