Compensation and Benefits

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD 108,000 per year - USD 119,500 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD 120,000 per year - USD 133,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered sales bonuses & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link

What The Candidate Will Do
  • Own the product roadmap, definition, and execution for building advanced applications that power the experience of knowledge workers and clients.
  • Own your numbers, guide your cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, product ops, and designers to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals — and overachieve them.
  • Collaborate with Uber internal and external stakeholders, including clients, product managers, engineering, data science, and global operations teams to ensure products support Uber’s business objectives globally, at scale.
  • Be a thought leader in the knowledge work space, understanding how technology and operations work in tandem to create an empathetic, delightful experience for clients and workers.
Basic Qualifications
  • Thinking from first principles: base solutions on data, product instinct, curiosity, and a hypothesis-driven, experimentation approach.
  • Experience delivering highly successful and creative technology products/platforms in the marketplace space.
  • Technically proficient: understand how technology evolves and how it impacts customers’ lives; collaborates with engineers on the technical architecture of products.
  • Thrives in fast feedback loops with evolving customer preferences and rapid prototyping and iteration.
  • Minimum 5 years PM experience, or relevant background in building experiences for enterprises.
  • Background in computer science or relevant discipline; MBA preferred but not required for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer obsession: passion for understanding customers’ pain points and building experiences to delight them, with demonstrable examples.
  • Strong understanding of product processes: segment users, define goals, generate creative solutions, and prioritize/exectute effectively.
  • Experience formulating product vision using user research and metrics, securing buy-in, and translating vision into a tangible roadmap.
  • Balance of user experience and system design with a strategic view of how tools align with business scenarios.
  • Persuasive communication and partnership skills in a highly cross-functional, global role.
