Salary and Benefits
Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade, as follows:
Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without reapplying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.
Border Patrol Agents are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k) offering.

Other Requirements
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
Veterans’ Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

Responsibilities- Treatment – Lead the planning, design, and permitting, of new and/or rehabilitated facilities including groundwater treatment, surface water treatment, wastewater treatment and recycled water production, treated water discharge and recycled use.
- Conveyance – Lead the planning, design, and permitting, of new and/or rehabilitated facilities including pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities.
- Assist with the oversight and management of the firm’s water utility engineering services;
- Manage project teams to efficiently complete the scope of services for our clients;
- Assist with the preparation of proposals for engineering services;
- Communicate effectively with client, project team, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, attending meetings, and providing ongoing written and verbal communication to successfully deliver engineering services;
- Provide responsible charge duties, including signing and sealing documents related to the delivery of engineering services; and
- Mentoring and managing the development of staff who are interested in professional development within the water utility profession.
- Treatment – Broad knowledge of water/wastewater design processes and technologies including permitting with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Division of Drinking Water of the State Water Resources Control Board.
- Conveyance – Broad knowledge of water related utility design processes and technologies.
- Self-motivated, technically competent, client- and solution-focused individual.
- Able to be self-directing and self-starting.
- Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills, including interpretation of complex technical and contractual language.
- Aptitude and hands-on experience with computer applications used in Civil Engineering, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD or similar modeling software, and Microsoft Office suite, etc.
- Experience developing and providing quality assurance reviews for construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, and technical reports and studies.
- Demonstrated ability to make and communicate sound decisions regarding complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, organize and analyze engineering data, and make comprehensive reports.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong business development and strategic planning skills.
- BS Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- California PE license required, with a minimum of 3 years in responsible charge.
- 8-plus years of experience required; including progressively responsible for project management.

Distribution Associate is responsible for ensuring that the Regional Service Center (RSC) conforms to the company's quality systems at all times, and for day-to-day activities within the RSC. These activities include, but are not limited to, Driving Routes as a primary responsibility, as well as carrying out warehousing, distribution and administrative functions, as required by the company.
Responsibilities:
• Must properly load the assigned vehicle prior to departing for a scheduled or unscheduled route, and properly unload the assigned vehicle upon returning from a scheduled or unscheduled route. (Note - scheduled and unscheduled routes may regularly require overnight stays that are greater than one night).
• Must drive a route efficiently (i.e., follow the established route plan, read maps, follow directions, and deliver/pick-up product at the correct hospital campus/department), and immediately communicate any noteworthy exceptions to Customer Service and the Branch Manager.
• Must abide by all Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations and ensure all required documentation is with the vehicle (proof of insurance, fuel card, vehicle registration, etc.).
• Must ensure proper delivery of product(s) that have been ordered by the customer. Must obtain the necessary customer signatures on the correct paperwork.
• Must ensure that all driver logs and trip reports are completed timely and accurately.
• Must always convey a friendly, positive and professional image to both the internal (e.g., customer service department) and external customer (e.g., the account).
• Warehouse, Distribution and Administrative Functions: Must be proficient with Navision.
• Must be able to create appropriate paperwork for inbound/outbound transactions and retrieve route information from the network. Must have a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal Regulations (cGMP, DOT, IATA, OSHA, etc.), as well as all company Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) that affect the job responsibilities.
• Must be able to effectively pick orders, handle returns from a customer, and enter INO meter downloads.
• Must be able to prepare 3rd party shipments, as well as contact the appropriate carrier in a timely manner, and prepare the required paperwork to ensure compliance with all federal regulations.
• Must be able to wipe down INO vents for the Service Area, as well as perform Quality Checks on devices.
• Must ensure that all warehouse and administrative functions are done in accordance with company SOP's, and follow the highest standards of warehousing and distribution operations, customer service, and safety.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Must possess a Class A, B or C Commercial Driver’s License with a Hazmat endorsement, and full compliance with DOT regulations will be required to handle the driving functions for this position.
- Must have highly proficient computer skills, ideally with experience using SAP, Oracle or some ERP, Warehouse Management System.
