Requirements:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling Surgical Techs to work onsite within Spokane, WA. This position has multiple openings with varied shifts, hours and schedules.

Responsible to function as the surgical technician in the surgical suite and other clinical areas. The surgical technician will, under the direction of the supervising surgical technologist and/or the circulating RN, perform tasks which consists of the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment; the passing of instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique and caring for instruments following the procedure. Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy Department, Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA

Shift Details: Full-time, Variable shift, 36 hours a week

The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. This individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy. She/He may be qualified by training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

This Posting is for multiple openings of a Surgical Technician at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA . We offer 8, 10 and 12 hour day shifts, as well as on-call and fulltime opportunities.

The Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department manager or assistant nurse manager.
