Tactical Air is currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. This position will support Tactical Air's fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. The Maintenance staff are a dedicated team comprised of experienced, A&P-certified, and tactical aircraft mechanics, technicians, and logisticians who all work towards ensuring safe and seamless ground maintenance operations. Hire date will be in October!
Responsibilities:
- Professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, & responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers.
- Read & interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, & technical specifications to accurately fabricate parts to required dimensions & tolerances, & identify materials, understand symbols and notations, and translate design requirements into precise fabrication processes.
- Perform organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment.
- Solve problems & provide technical assistance, guidance, & instruction to other teammates as needed.
- Cross training & other duties may be assigned at leadership discretion.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 2 years' structures/sheet metal experience in an aerospace, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
- Current work experience in aircraft maintenance occupational field, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor.
- Experience with high performance military aircraft, preferred (F-5/T-38).
- A&P Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
- Valid state driver's license.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Heavy modification/integration/repair sheet metal experience on aircraft.
- Layout, fabricate, assemble, install, sheet metal products and equipment on aircraft.
- Familiar using shop equipment such as a shear, sheet metal brake, bandsaw, drill press, mill, bench grinder and sanding belt.
- Performing part-fitting operations: filing, sawing, deburring, trimming, riveting, drilling, reaming, countersinking and counterboring.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, protractors, height, depth, dial and screw pitch gauges, squares and rulers.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
- Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring awkward stances and positions such as stooping, twisting, and reaching for periods of time throughout an 8 hour day.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand role requirements for IT and engineering positions.
- Write and post job descriptions for roles ranging from software developers and cybersecurity specialists to structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
- Source, screen, and build shortlists of qualified candidates across technical domains.
- Conduct interviews using various methods, including structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions.
- Coordinate onboarding with HR to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Maintain a candidate CRM pipeline for timely communication and data accuracy.
- Attend industry events such as tech conferences and engineering expos to network with professionals.
- Stay updated on new developments in technology and engineering to support strategic hiring discussions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment, especially as a Technical or Engineering Recruiter.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering roles from sourcing to placement
