This position will act as a Lean Portfolio Manager, bridging the strategic vision and execution by applying Lean and Agile principles to portfolio governance, investment funding, and delivery oversight. The role is pivotal in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, optimizing value flow, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for a Director-level portfolio manager who can partner with legacy application teams and an agile project team that is delivering new system functions in support of content licensing business capabilities.

We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach with a strong marketing background to assist our client in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will guide cross-functional marketing teams through the adoption of Agile methodologies, transitioning from a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model to a more structured Agile framework. This position offers an exciting opportunity to promote collaboration, enhance team performance, and drive organizational agility. This engagement is initially a short-term project through EOY, focuced on the initial assessment and best practices, with the goal of extending into 2026 to dive into implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of marketing and creative teams from a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model to a formal Agile framework.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, roles, and practices to ensure successful adoption.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions to enhance team collaboration.
- Partner with leadership to develop Agile implementation strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify and address organizational or process-related barriers that hinder team performance.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to build internal Agile expertise.
- Monitor team performance metrics to assess Agile maturity and recommend areas for improvement.
- Act as a change agent to foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile practitioner.
- Proven experience in coaching Agile marketing teams or working within marketing environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS.
- Demonstrated success in leading Agile transformations from hybrid or Waterfall environments.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ A Senior Agile Coach will enable our organization by developing highly effective teams and facilitating the organizational culture change necessary for sustained success.
+ As part of the agile team, the Senior Agile Coach will bring strong consulting and facilitation skills to guide organization leaders through improving their agile mindset.
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills and strong time management skills.
+ As a Senior Agile Coach, you will also need an adaptive coaching style with the ability to work with teams at various levels and in locations around the world.
+ Breaks down complex information into understandable terminology and actionable concepts.
+ Build and support an enterprise Agile Center of Excellence (COE) with consistent training and coaching available to the whole organization.
+ Understand the software development lifecycle and how various agile engineering practices can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing). Understands when to apply agile methodologies vs. traditional methodologies to achieve the best development outcome. Applies agile engineering practices (e.g., Extreme Programming techniques such as pair programming and test-driven development) in own projects.
+ Anticipates and recognizes bottlenecks in work processes between teams and makes suggestions for ongoing improvement. Leads implementation teams and ensures the successful execution of new ideas or approaches. Coordinates with the team to define the measures of success for process improvements.
+ Identifies the interrelatedness of work activities across teams and recommends improvements to processes to increase effectiveness. Secures the necessary resources or support from senior management to remove team barriers to implementing new ideas or approaches. Ensures process improvement initiatives focus on measurable results and helps teams establish measures of

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Preferred experience working as an Agile Coach in a Scaled Agile environment

**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor of Computer Science or comparable degree/experience
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $08,000.00 to 136,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
