**HOW A SENIOR AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**
+ Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions

The likely salary range for this position is $108,979 - $147,443. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Client is seeking a qualified Azure Cloud Engineer I to join our client's cloud infrastructure team based in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. This role is hybrid onsite and will only consider local candidates due to require in-person collaboration.
The selected engineer will work closely with senior architects and application teams to deploy, configure, and optimize Azure cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Azure landing zones, implementing networking configurations, and automating infrastructure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the setup and configuration of core Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and environments.
Implement and enforce Azure Policies, RBAC permissions, and tagging standards to ensure governance and compliance.
Deploy and manage core Azure networking components including VWAN, Azure Firewall, VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
