The BIM Modeler III is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This is a leader of the production team that will create most of the drawings for a project and typically functions as a Model Manager. Will need to efficiently take part in and supervise modeling and documenting the project.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
- 3+ years' total experience with knowledge of modeling and designing background
- 1+ years of electrical disciplinary background
- electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
- Revit proficiency
- Ideally work with a previous competitor: Helix, Dycom, JE Dunn, Yates, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Advanced working knowledge of the most current modeling applications software in use by REI, including being able to create and manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functions
- Electrical modeling background within the commercial, industrial, or renewables space
- Give verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working design documents
- Comfortable leading a project and talking with management
- Complete understanding of REI BIM processes and procedures including workflow processes

Responsibilities
- Engage with any project that requires BIM modeling
- Model all scopes of work required per BID documents or any additional needs for the site team to be efficient in the field
- Ensure the model database is complete prior to the start of any modeling
- Ensure all modeling uses approved submittal parts that are inputted to central/project Mullins database
- Upload updated Model to Procore weekly
- Upload native files to platform provided by client daily
- Complete clash detection of Mullins scope of work
- Review constructability of models and QA/QC final models prior to sign off
- Coordinate scopes of work during coordination with the owner and other applicable trades
- Sign off areas that are applicable to Mullins scope of work

General Summary:
The BIM Modeler must be familiar with the Revit software program to provide support to various jobsite personnel such as the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Representative, Electrical Designers, Engineers, and Project Supervision by preparing 2-D and 3-D detail drawings along with 3-D models to include all views and help get the dimensions necessary for the actual installs on jobsite. Make copies of drawings and maintain information regarding changes to database. Make simple decisions but refer most questions/problems to Electrical Designers, Engineers, or Supervisor. Familiarity of Revit software. The BIM Modeler will report to the BIM Manager.
Preferred Job Skills:
Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. Possesses basic math skills and a willingness to commute to remote job sites as needed. Must possess effective communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have experience or ability to become proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage.
