**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Process & analyze high-throughput sequencing data from various platforms
+ Test bioinformatics software, pipelines and workflows with different parameterizations and compare results
+ Package bioinformatics software, pipelines and workflows for distribution through Bioconda and container repositories
+ Write CI/CD Github Actions tasks for automated unit test running, compile time benchmarking, performance regression checking
+ Develop frontend data visualization components for proteomics and multiome data
+ Prepare bioinformatics data web apps (made with Dash, Shiny, Streamlit) for deployment on product
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Bioinfomatics, Computational Biology or related field+ 2 years of Biotech/Academia/Research experience
+ Proficient in a GNU/Linux command line interface and Python, Javascript
+ Experience with High Performance Computing Clusters (HPC) and job schedulers
+ Experience with bioinformatics workflow management frameworks (snakemake, nextflow)
+ CI/CD experience

About you:

  • The ideal candidate is a "bilingual" computational and biological scientist that can plan and execute on target discovery, credentialing and positioning projects, and lead translation to pipeline progression, in close interactions with oncology, immunology, neurology and ophthalmology experts, as well as colleagues in early development.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and design production-scale bioinformatics pipelines using contemporary tools for processing and analyzing NGS data within cloud-based computing environment
