As a member of our team, you will receive orders from a centralized dispatch, retrieve parcels from clients, and then deliver the parcels in a timely and safe manner. We provide our clients with the absolute highest in customer service, and you must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in order to best be an ambassador for our brand. Our ideal candidate has prior delivery or professional driving experience. You also need a keen eye for detail, safe driving skills, and a thorough knowledge of the wider geographic area.
Delivery Driver Key Responsibilities:
Delivers products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers.Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase orders when necessary to ensure accuracy.Inspect delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.Contacts customers to confirm delivery details when necessary.Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries.Maintains delivery logs and records.

General Duties:

Job Description
LabCorp seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in (Location). In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.
**Pay Range:** $21.00 to $28.40 per hour plus 2nd shift differential
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
**Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 1:00am
**Work Location:** 1037 Thomas Ave SW, Renton, WA 98057
**Benefits:** Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
+ Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
+ Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
+ Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
+ Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
+ Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
+ Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
+ Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
**Job Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
+ Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
+ Must be at least 21 years' old
+ Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
+ Customer service experience is a plus
+ Very punctual with strong time management skills
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to problem solve customer issues
+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Drives a vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, mail and reports to various locations according to assigned schedules or pickups designated by the supervisor.
Job Duties
+ Delivers supplies, equipment, mail and reports as needed.
+ Loads and unloads vehicles using appropriate means to safely transport costly, perishable and confidential materials.
+ Obtains appropriate signatures and maintains records and documentation of pick-ups, deliveries, driving time, labor time, mileage, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, etc., as assigned.
+ Responds to emergency requests for unscheduled pick-ups and deliveries by contacting the supervisor to resolve schedule conflicts and adjust priorities.
+ Adheres to infection control procedures, safety standards and traffic rules.
+ Reports complaints, observations, problems, suggestions, etc., to supervisor in a timely manner.
Work is typically performed in a transportation vehicle or office. Requires the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Requires sitting and driving a vehicle for an extended period of time.
