Courier's at Pace® are responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering samples to our clients and completing other related items and completing appropriate forms and documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Picks up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items as needed.
  • Reviews, completes and processes documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery.
  • Prepares vehicle or truck for daily operations, including documents, safety, and related areas.

**Overview**
The Courier supports operations by delivering and picking up items for accounts, vendors, subsidiaries, and corporate associates; completing scheduled routes within headquarters and local subsidiaries; responding to special requests; making bank deposits, cashing checks, and picking up bank transactions; driving and maintaining service vehicle.
**Primary Responsibilities**

Job Summary:

Responsible for picking up and delivering laboratory specimens, reports and supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical/surgical equipment, medical records, and documents as needed during the shift. Handles STAT pick-ups as requested. Assist in the laboratory with checking requisitions, perform specimen records for laboratory specimens using LIS and HIS for order accessioning, labeling, delivery, and report preparation. Will also answer phone calls and deliver samples for testing. Will assist with processing as needed. Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires possession of a valid and clean NYS driver's license and Associate's Degree. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary; read, write, and speak English fluently; possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years with Prior clinical lab experience

Work Days:

Tuesday-Saturday 10:30pm-7:00am.
