Responsibilities for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm):
- Research and compile data needed to prepare electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documents
- Communicate with lawyers and supervisors regarding jobs, instructions or deadlines
- Provide at-desk support to lawyers or off-site client support as requested
- Assist with the documentation and materials utilized in the department training program
- Produce, edit and format complex legal documents; format, revise and blackline documents
- Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Answer phones and provide technical help when needed
- Proofread work for accuracy
Requirements for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm):
- 4+ years of experience as an EDGAR and document processing operator
- Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PROFILE EDGAR software, DocX Tools, Workshare Compare, OmniPage, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, minimally staffed environment
- Must be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff and clients
