Organization: Elite International Law Firm

Location: Downtown NYC (fully remote)

Comp Package: Base to $110K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits Day One, Tuition Reimbursement, Bonus, 401K+, etc.

Responsibilities for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm):

  • Research and compile data needed to prepare electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documents
  • Communicate with lawyers and supervisors regarding jobs, instructions or deadlines
  • Provide at-desk support to lawyers or off-site client support as requested
  • Assist with the documentation and materials utilized in the department training program
  • Produce, edit and format complex legal documents; format, revise and blackline documents
  • Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Answer phones and provide technical help when needed
  • Proofread work for accuracy

Requirements for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm):

  • 4+ years of experience as an EDGAR and document processing operator
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PROFILE EDGAR software, DocX Tools, Workshare Compare, OmniPage, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, minimally staffed environment
  • Must be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff and clients
