Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be familiar with 19c Oracle RAC
  • Must be familiar with Dataguard Physical Standby.
  • Must have experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Other skills include export data pump and import data pump utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux.
  • Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting Linux or Unix System Administration, a bonus.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server
  • Support During Normal Business Hours and some off hour.
  • Support Outside Core Business Hours
  • Position will participate in an on-call 7 day rotation at least two weeks a month, typically rotating every other week with the primary DBA in support of the Division of Consolidated Laboratory LIMS Database. The on-call rotation begins on Saturday and ends the following Friday. The agency core business hours M-F are 8:15a-5p. Support and availability is expected outside of agency core business hours during the entire on-call period. Position will be compensated 1 hour per day for being on-call Monday-Friday and 2.5 hours per day for Saturday, Sunday or State Holidays. If an event occurs that requires your assistance while you are on-call, additional compensation for actual hours worked (time rounded up in one-hour increments) will be provided. When designated on-call, you must remain available by telephone or email while off site and respond within 30 minutes. This is applicable for the entire assigned duration. You must remain free of the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs during on-call periods.

2.0 Scope
Our client is transitioning from its current database repository to Windchill 12 and requires software, training, and implementation of S-1000D tools, standards, and workflows.
3.0 Technical Requirements
3.1 Material
Red Hat, Windchill 12, and S-1000D Text Creation and Publication software package (Editor, Styler, Publishing Engine, Service Information Manager) will be supplied by Buyer.
3.2 Service: Current System Analysis
Analysis of current system including workflows, styles, and content. Recommendation for
configuring Windchill 12 and implementation of S-1000D.
3.3 Service: Configuration of Software
Configuration of software (including Red Hat, Windchill 12, and Arbortext or similar
product), and training - onsite at Leidos facility.
3.4 Service: Training and Configuration Support
Provide technical/troubleshooting support for the configured software solution, and training for setting up and configuring Red Hat, Windchill 12, and S1000D. Training will be either virtual or onsite.
4.0 Required Government Furnished Information (GFI)
To successfully complete the proposed work, the following GFI is necessary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Database GenAI & AI Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Database Management AI Agent Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining intelligent AI agents specifically focused on automating, optimizing, and enhancing various aspects of database management.
This role requires a deep understanding of database internals, performance tuning, security, and administration, combined with strong expertise in AI agent development, machine learning, and natural language processing. The specialist will build agents that perform proactive monitoring, automated problem resolution, performance optimization, and intelligent insights for our diverse database environments.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **AI Agent Design & Development:** Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI agents engineered to automate and optimize database management tasks across various database platforms (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Hadoop, Caching technologies).
+ **Proactive Monitoring & Anomaly Detection:** Develop AI agents capable of continuous, intelligent monitoring of database performance metrics, resource utilization, and operational logs to detect anomalies and predict potential issues before they impact services.
+ **Automated Remediation:** Design and implement agents that can automatically diagnose common database problems and execute predefined or learned remediation actions (e.g., query optimization, index creation/rebuilding, storage reallocation, connection management).
+ **Performance Optimization:** Utilize AI/ML techniques to develop agents that analyze database workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend or automatically apply optimal configurations, query rewrites, or indexing strategies.
+ **Security & Compliance Agents:** Build agents to enforce database security policies, monitor for unauthorized access attempts, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ **Natural Language Database Operations:** Implement natural language interfaces (using NLU/NLG) within agents to allow DBAs and developers to interact with and query database status, historical performance, and receive recommendations using plain language.
+ **Data Lifecycle Management Automation:** Develop agents to automate data archival, purging, backup, and recovery processes based on policies and learned patterns.
+ **Integration & Orchestration:** Integrate AI agents seamlessly into existing database ecosystems, monitoring tools, ITSM platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

**Position Summary**

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $
