Join the Image Curation and Data Products team, a global group transforming biomedical imaging data from clinical trials and real-world data (RWD). We deliver high-quality, FAIR imaging datasets that empower Roche imaging data scientists—from exploratory research to algorithm development.
Key Responsibilities
- Imaging Data Pipeline Delivery: Design and maintain automated pipelines for onboarding, verifying, transforming, and curating biomedical imaging data across therapeutic areas (Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology).
- Data Quality & Integrity: Implement solutions to detect and correct anomalies, ensure compliance with DICOM and internal standards (FFS, RTS, GDSR), and enforce PHI/PII controls.
- Data Analysis & Integration: Integrate ML/AI tools for inline image analysis, classification, segmentation, and metadata enrichment.
- Image Data Management: Build scalable catalogs of curated imaging datasets aligned with FAIR principles.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure GXP and CSV validation compliance.
We’re looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in data platforms, analysis, and insights. Ideal candidates will have multiple of the following competencies:
- Experience with medical imaging platforms (PACS, VNAs)
- Familiarity with radiology and ophthalmology imaging formats (CT, PET, MRI, OCT, FA, CFP)
- Deep understanding of DICOM standards and metadata
- Knowledge of clinical data standards (SDTM, ADaM)
- Expertise in data integration across imaging and tabular clinical data
- PHI/PII de-identification methodologies
- GXP and CSV validation experience
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, pydicom, SimpleITK, etc.)

However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor's legal duty to furnish information.
