Job DescriptionJob Description

Title: Solutions Architect
Location: SF Bay Area | New York City (In-Office )
Employment Type: Full-Time
Team: Solutions & Customer Engineering

About the Client

Our client is an ambitious technology company transforming critical infrastructure within a major financial services sector. By building fully programmatic systems, they aim to automate and modernize regulatory, operational, and capital workflows for a historically complex and high-value industry. The team features experienced professionals from top-tier fintech and tech firms and is supported by well-known institutional and angel investors.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect to take the lead on technical engagements with enterprise and growth-stage customers. This role is at the intersection of engineering, product, and client strategy, playing a pivotal role in guiding customers from initial technical discovery to seamless integration and sustained success. You’ll be the trusted technical partner to product and engineering teams, helping them design and deploy scalable solutions using a robust API-first platform.

Ideal candidates will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep appreciation for working collaboratively with clients. You’ll serve as a hybrid of a solutions engineer, architect, and strategist—ensuring technical alignment and enabling long-term customer growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams in both pre- and post-sales phases to craft integration solutions using the platform’s APIs.

  • Drive onboarding strategies for customers, managing a spectrum of integration approaches from drop-in components to full API integrations.

  • Translate nuanced operational requirements into architectural and implementation roadmaps.

  • Act as the primary technical liaison for customer engineering teams throughout the integration lifecycle.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and partner with internal engineering and product teams to resolve complex issues.

  • Develop scalable implementation templates and reusable playbooks for faster deployment cycles.

  • Capture and relay customer feedback and emerging needs to influence the product roadmap.

  • Support customers in scaling their usage with a focus on performance, flexibility, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Implementation Engineer, or Sales Engineer.

  • Hands-on experience integrating with modern, API-first platforms and building scalable technical solutions.

  • Strong fluency in system design, REST APIs, developer tooling, and data integration.

  • Clear and empathetic communicator, adept at simplifying technical concepts for a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Track record working with a variety of clients, from early-stage startups to large enterprises.

  • Highly organized and effective at managing multiple implementation projects concurrently.

  • Energized by fast-paced environments, early-stage dynamics, and process-building.

  • Experience in financial technology or regulated industries is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with tools like Postman and scripting in such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.

  • Collaborate with top-tier professionals from leading technology and fintech companies.
