**How will you make an impact in this role?**
This role is part of the Global Services- Strategy & Integration team and will be responsible defining the treatment strategies used to support US Credit Customers in resolving difficult financial situations.
The successful candidate will support development and realization of our next generation of Credit strategies. Optimally identifying and balancing multiple strategic and analytical projects from conceptualization through implementation. The role requires effective collaboration with Senior Leaders and Business Partners across American Express.
**Responsibilities Include:**
* Provide Strategy support to POA next generation Credit capabilities
* Provide strategy support to seamlessly integrate new capabilities and tools into the operations environment
* Improve ability and execution to collect
* Provide analytical support for production management and lead treatment tool (e.g. FRP) strategy (partner with CFR)
* Provide strategy support to design/revise strategy in compliance with regulatory requirements
* Provide strategy support on any MAP/CAP/Risk event
* Work with collections organization, product business owners, CFR, and capabilities to ensure seamless implementation for new products and changes to existing products
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Strong quantitative analytical skills and conceptual thinking skills and experiences
* Strong ability to develop optimal strategy that is both effective and operationally feasible
* Strong credit and collection operations background and experience in placement, portfolio optimization and segmentation strategies
* Strong communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, and business partners
* Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change
* 7 years of combined professional experience in strategy development, process engineering and/or transformation, project management
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required;
**Preferred Qualifications** :
* Master's degree preferred
* Strong working knowledge of Credit and Collections servicing preferred

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits

**Description**
Under general supervision, the Senior Mine Engineer - Strategic Planning UG leads and contributes to high-impact mining engineering initiatives, with a primary focus on feasibility studies, capital project development, and safety audits. This role is instrumental in shaping the long-term strategic vision of mining operations through advanced technical analysis, effective project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Lead and manage mine-related projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets
+ Conduct and contribute to technical and economic feasibility studies for new and existing mining operations.
+ Participate in and lead mine safety audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external safety standards.
+ Provide technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on mine planning, engineering design, and operational improvements.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geology, metallurgy, environmental, and finance to support project development.
+ Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer across the engineering team.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering and five (5) years of related experience in engineering or a related field, OR
+ Master's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering and three (3) years of related experience
+ Hands-on experience within the last five (5) years in at least two of the following: mine planning, project management, feasibility analysis, geomechanical control, or engineering supervision
+ Strong knowledge of mine engineering principles and project management methodologies
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver results
+ Skilled in conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations
+ Strong understanding of mine safety standards and audit processes
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Proficiency in mine planning and engineering software
Criteria/Conditions:
+ Work is primarily office-based with periodic site visits, which may include exposure to temperature extremes, dust, and industrial environments

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$101,000-$141,000.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. The Strategic Planning Operations Manager will accelerate the work of the People and Places (PPL) organization's Portfolio, Planning, and Programs. We are seeking a highly organized big picture thinker who can swivel to detailed thinking and execution in a single conversation. This role focuses on two primary things: 1. Operational support of PPL's portfolio, planning, and program work including OKR management, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and general operational rhythms and hygiene, and 2. This newly created role works directly with the PPL Sr. Portfolio & Planning Manager to shape how we deliver work at scale. As an AEO, you are decisive, detail-oriented, and know how to build relationships internally and externally and negotiate terms to drive results. **What Will You Do?**
+ Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business primarily comprised of moderately to highly complex accounts.
+ Underwrite and skillfully negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
+ Execute business unit underwriting strategies across your book of business to achieve profit and growth objectives.
+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners within the business unit and across the enterprise to identify cross-selling opportunities.
