MANTECH  seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager  to join our Air Force / Space team at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.

The Project Manager’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. The position will provide “day-to-day” multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.  The candidate will provide management support for all aspects of the program design, development, deployment, and sustainment related to the execution of office processes under the DoD Overprint to the NISPOMSUP or the DoD SAP Manual.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the deployment, maintenance, sustainment, and disposition of  IT equipment supporting SAP operations. 
  • Ability to lead in the establishment of program security procedures, structure, and program classification guidance, and project management for complex SAPs in support of US military operations.
  • Ability to develop/monitor metrics on completeness, progress, and status of Air Force SAP Security programs and projects.
  • Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security related topics
  • Ability to develop/monitor a comprehensive tracking mechanism for Air Force SAP Security project milestones.
  • Provide expertise on protecting critical elements of SAPs.
  • Ensure success of Air Force SAPs by consulting with government and contractor stakeholders on project requirements, SAP security issues and milestone progress

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university.  2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager with Epic certification and a strong understanding of Epic Bridges to lead complex healthcare integration projects. In this role, you will manage end-to-end delivery of interfaces between Epic and third-party systems, ensuring alignment across technical, client, and internal teams.

This is a full-time, computer-professional exempt position. The Technical Project Manager in this position will be responsible for delivering project(s) that span across multiple software solutions in the ELLKAY product suite to support our growing laboratory and hospital client base. This includes the full project management cycle, including management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

The Technical Project Manager has the authority to run each project on a day-to-day basis and is ultimately responsible for establishing and cultivating a positive working relationship with each laboratory or hospital client from an Operations perspective.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own project delivery for Epic integration initiatives involving Bridges application build.
  • Coordinate with Epic-certified analysts, technical teams, client stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Facilitate Kick-off, status, and escalation calls with internal and client teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Oversee testing and validation phases (unit, integrated, UAT).
  • Ensure projects meet client requirements, Epic standards, and company SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation, including specs, mapping sheets, and change logs.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of the customer implementation
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the regular project status update meetings with the customer
  • Provide status reporting to internal and external leadership / stakeholders regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals

Qualifications:

  • Epic Bridges Certification
  • 2+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
  • 2+ years of experience working with hospital clients
  • Strong knowledge of HL7, Epic Bridges, and EHR/PM interoperability.
  • Proven experience leading technical or interface teams in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
