The FAL Technician is responsible for the installation of systems such as the cabin wall liners, center monuments, landing gear, wiring harnesses, and more. You will work closely with your peers to thread design changes from ongoing product development efforts seamlessly into existing build processes. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Hands-on installation, and in some cases, test of a variety of aircraft systems.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes as the key process owner.

Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the production process including electrical wiring, metal and PVC plumbing, fabrication, subassembly, assembly, and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support management in creating all safety procedures and documentation
- Lead Production Team in all H2O Safety Trainings
- Identify and communicate any safety hazards in the workplace
- Communicate any parts needs through proper channels
- Interpret all Production Reference Materials and identify discrepancies including any errors or needed materials
- Become proficient in all production tasks (i.e. electrical wiring, metal and PVC plumbing, fabrication, subassembly, assembly, and analysis), always maintaining H2O quality standards
- Keep personal workspace clean and organized
- Oversee and participate in shop housekeeping
- Participate in Inventory Assessments
- Learn new soft/hard skills and improve known skills
- Adhere to all H2O efficiency and quality standards and procedures
- Identify shop needs for tools and safety equipment
- Manage shop inventory of tools and personal protective equipment
- Offer ideas to improve shop flow, efficiencies, or morale
- Be a positive role model for other H2O Production employees
- Be available to offer expertise and knowledge to other H2O employees

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement out of control action plans
- Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Handle material review board materials by following processes for identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materials
- Support the operation of multiple tools simultaneously to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
- Clear yield alarms, conduct initial investigations, and start basic action plans to address deviations from expected performance
- Ensure high-level product quality through tasks such as web path checks and audits
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts for safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
- Demonstrated experience in large- and small-scale manufacturing environments within a production process role
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
- Ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work across multiple shifts as required
- Must have command of the English language, written and verbal
- Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day
