Our client, a leading automotive parts manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia, US . This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process. You will lead a team of quality inspectors, implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues proactively.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and training a team of quality control inspectors, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing quality control standards and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and customer requirements.
  • Conducting regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
  • Utilizing various measurement tools and equipment to verify product specifications and tolerances.
  • Analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions to prevent defects.
  • Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues, implementing root cause analysis, and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborating closely with production, engineering, and supply chain departments to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry, is required. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is essential. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, statistical process control (SPC), and measurement techniques is mandatory. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality standards is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, are crucial.
