Universal Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Helper who will work under the direction of our Service Technicians and provide immediate support with making plumbing repairs.
This position is full-time. Full-time employees working a minimum 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage effective after an introductory period. Other benefits offered are Life insurance, Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, and Paid Time Off.

Key Responsibilities
- Aid our Service Technicians with installation, maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems in residential and commercial spaces
- Ability to take direction from technician regarding lifting, retrieving supplies, loading and unloading vehicles
- Show initiative in assisting technicians and learning the trade
- Immediately report potential issues or failures with repairs directly to the technician on site
Qualifications
- Plumbing experience is not required but a plus!
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment, and/or willingness to learn (i.e. pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to take direction
- Must be able to be flexible and work with a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean record from Department of Motor Vehicles
Physical Requirements
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Ability to lift 80lbs plus.
