Support procurement and construction phases, including responding to RFIs and reviewing field changes
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, quality standards, and DOE/NQA-1 requirements
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for project requirements)
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
15+ years of structural design experience (EPC preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Advanced knowledge of structural design tools such as STAAD, RISA-3D, and Mathcad
Strong familiarity with seismic, blast, and dynamic loading criteria
Excellent technical writing, communication, and leadership skills

+ Undertaking design and planning activities on vertical building structural projects - aviation facilities, transit stations, freight rail facilities, and ancillary buildings related to roadway projects.
+ Preparing structural design utilizing hand calculations, Excel workbooks, and advanced structural analysis software to determine applied loading, demand requirements, and appropriate foundation and member specifications.
+ Preparing structural technical sketches, drawings, specifications and reports under the supervision of senior staff.
+ Exercising judgment in developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
+ Coordinating with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.
+ Performing condition assessments and site visits as needed. Occasional short to medium term site visits may also become necessary depending on project requirements.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
