**The Opportunity:**
The Optical and Photonics Systems group of CACI is looking for candidates to help develop the next generation of optical technologies. These include free-space optical communications terminals and modems and high-power optical sources across the optical spectrum. Particularly, efforts will develop the next generation of capabilities, with previous successes having flown on the International Space Station as part of an optical communications relay demonstration and another having achieved the current largest data optical transmission range of >19 million miles, along with developing the Space Defense Agency's standard terminal for laser communications.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform detailed Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS or similar software to evaluate the structural integrity of mechanical systems
+ Develop and validate FEA models to predict stress, strain, deformation, and failure modes under various loading conditions (e.g., launch loads, operational vibration)
+ Conduct dynamic analysis to assess the vibrational characteristics of mechanical systems
+ Conduct calculations for bolted joints to ensure proper preload, torque, and structural integrity
+ Prepare detailed documentation of analysis methods, results, and recommendations.
+ Conduct tests and experiments to gather data for model validation
**Qualifications:**

+ US citizenship required
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience

Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge and leadership as described below. We are looking to add Structural and Electrical Project Engineers to our growing team on our SFHP project located in Scoville, ID. In this role, you will lead a team and interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate the engineering technical aspects for complex projects. You will participate in project planning, proposal review, and will own the engineering elements of capital estimates. Your technical guidance and recommendations will ensure engineering aspects meet project requirements and remain within scope and budget.

+ Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a smallproject, or designated portions of a project
+ Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project
+ Possesses technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing,executing, and coordinating these assignments
+ Ensures the facilities are designed in a safe, reliable, andefficient manner in accordance with policies and all applicablelaws, regulations, authorization basis, codes, standards andtechnical requirements

**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineers** to join our team!
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Conduct Site Surveys
+ Design and Engineering services for identified locations throughout the United States
+ Ensure compliance with Government and National Codes and Standards
+ Guides and informs on the development, enhancement, and refinement of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on a routine basis.
+ Contributes extensive and significant knowledge of engineering.
+ Assist in technical discussions to facilitate the development and updating of standards.
+ Ability to interpret and adapt relevant industry best practices, standards, and legislation for the benefit of the Company.
+ Resolve technical issues that may arise in updating and development of standards.
+ Work in a matrixed team environment and promote team effectiveness by providing technical guidance and coaching and communicating expectations to the team.
+ Ability to prioritize work and be a team member on multiple projects at one time under budget and time constraints.
+ Prepare comprehensive written and oral reports of technical problems, investigative findings, and engineering recommendations.
+ Support Project Manager and Project Management Processes.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5-7 years of related work experience.
+ Active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
+ Experience in federal, defense or other highly regulated industries
+ Familiarity with Design-Build project delivery methods
+ Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, and others in a positive, team building manner.
+ Good working knowledge of industry standards, safety standards, and current engineering design codes including but not limited to, construction and maintenance practices, ASCE, ACI, AISC, SEI, ANSI, ASTM, Internal Building Code.
+ Strong leadership skills, qualified candidates must be capable of directing, supervising, coaching, developing, mentoring, and training staff.
+ Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills on large scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
+ Valid driver's license required with acceptable driving record that meets National Grid's Safe Driver Policy.
+ Ability to travel up to 30%
+ Civil Engineers and Designers must have design experience in Civil infrastructure to include, site design, roads, site grading and drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license
+ Proficiency with Civil 3D
