To support existing NC Museum of Natural Sciences (NCMNS) website:

1. Website Access Restoration: Diagnose and repair issues related to the missing WordPress login PHP file, restoring the login functionality for administrative and content management access.

2. Static Pages Restoration: Diagnose and repair issues related to the inability to make lives changes made to the static portions of the site.

3. Codebase Stabilization: Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations that contribute to website instability, applying fixes as necessary to support ongoing use.

4. Content Management Support: Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability where feasible, given the current structure, to facilitate better access for public users and ease of content management.

5. Short-Term Maintenance Recommendations: Provide guidance on maintaining the website’s operability over the short term, including essential updates and monitoring for potential points of failure.

6. Documentation: Document any repairs, temporary fixes, or recommendations for the NCMNS team to maintain site functionality and address minor issues.

We are looking for a talented WordPress Web Designer to join our Marketing team. This role will be central to supporting marketing initiatives with a heavy emphasis on designing and optimizing websites for audience growth. The WordPress Web Designer will be responsible for elevating the digital brand presence of Audiochuck and all of its shows, ensuring cohesive design systems, consistent visual branding, and compelling user experiences that attract and retain listeners.

• Conceptualize marketing websites and landing pages by creating wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.

The base salary for this role is between $85,000 and $90,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

We are looking for a skilled, proactive and responsive Contract Web Developer to join our multidisciplinary team remotely and contribute to our goal of making a difference.

We’re looking for a contract Web Developer to support our in-house development team with ongoing projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to build, update, and maintain our website primarily built on WordPress. The ideal candidate is proficient in front-end development using Bootstrap, and responsive design techniques, and can also convert design files (Canva/Figma/Adobe XD) into clean, responsive HTML email templates. A working understanding of technical SEO best practices and GEO-targeted content or localization principles is highly valued.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating our WordPress website (themes, plugins, and custom functionality).

The WordPress Developer will have a true passion for current and emerging technologies and the WordPress ecosystem.
