Overview

The Product Development team’s purpose is to lead the innovation and productivity agendas to grow KDP brands, transform beyond its core, and improve the profitability of our products. This Leadership role within R&D will lead the Productivity & Processing agenda within the Coffee Business Unit, to design and develop products at the right value to positively impact the P&L. The processing scope will set and lead the processing strategy and execution ensuring product quality and manufacturing efficiency. The incumbent will be a strategic thinker, natural collaborator, and lead the development and commercialization of KDP products. This role positions Keurig Dr Pepper to holistically think through the overall design of our products to delight our consumers and customers.

The role will work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and Finance leaders. The leader should have strong interpersonal skills to build key cross functional partnerships and relationships to foster a team environment aligned to the overall KDP values and culture.

Requirements:

Minimum bachelor’s degree, graduate degree is a plus. (Food Science or Engineering preferred).

12+ years of experience with a food/beverage company is highly desirable

5+ years’ experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports

Additional experience with green coffee origin, roasting, grinding, and extraction sciences is a plus.

Experience in powder processing with specific experience in the food industry (especially in powdered beverages) is a plus

Proficient in consumer design and value creation is a plus.

We’re looking for a Productivity Engineer — a data driven engineer that can identify inefficiencies across the enterprise by collaborating with colleagues across the enterprise, leveraging analytics skills and build workflow automations to drive results.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $70,000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. We are seeking a Productivity System Engineer who is both a strategic thinker and a tactical executor. This individual will have deep hands-on expertise in Office 365 and customer service and will be responsible for the engineering and management of Seeq’s internal IT systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years leading productivity, continuous improvement, or operations excellence programs in CPG or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide productivity processes.
• Strong program management skills and familiarity with common tools and practices.
• Background in Finance and/or Procurement is a plus.
• Experience optimizing technology systems and digital productivity tools.
• Strong data analytics capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
