Engineering Projects Senior Manager (Capital Projects)What you will do

In this vital role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex Drug Substance engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves developing and implementing processes, guidelines, and tools to support project success across a broad range of facilities, including cGMP manufacturing plants, laboratories, utility plants, and administrative buildings.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead and manage all aspects of capital projects from planning and implementation to completion and follow‑up. Establish project standards for work quality and quantity, ensuring all deliverables are met.
Develop and manage processes and guidelines to support the design, construction, and operation of complex facilities, ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements.
Interact with all levels of executive management, internal user groups, and cross‑functional teams to ensure project goals and objectives are well understood and met.
Apply proper decision‑making processes to resolve competing client interests on critical and time‑sensitive issues, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
Develop appropriate contracting strategies for project success and negotiate the use of resources to ensure efficient project execution.
Provide technical problem‑solving expertise across multiple teams, developing solutions to meet scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
Generate periodic updates, complex reports, and formal presentations for senior management and department heads. Act as a liaison with department heads, leaders, and team members to gather input and feedback.
Recommend and implement process improvements for enhanced project team performance and success. Identify potential schedule slips or changes, analyze costs and resource impacts, and propose proactive solutions.

Basic qualifications:- Doctorate degree in Engineering and 2 years of engineering project management experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of engineering project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of engineering project management experience
- Proven experience leading engineering and construction projects in a GMP‑regulated environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex project portfolios, with strong skills in task prioritization, timeline management, and meeting quality standards.
- Solid knowledge of, or hands‑on experience with, drug substance manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing, managing, and inspiring high‑performing teams.
- Experience overseeing indirect resources and managing vendor communications directly.

The HVAC Pipefitter Journeyman is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems associated with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires advanced knowledge of piping layouts, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, ensuring all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Cut, thread, groove, weld, and braze pipes using hand and power tools.
- Install and connect piping systems to HVAC equipment such as chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and pumps.
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, sheet metal workers) to ensure coordinated installation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.

Director, Projects — Universal Creative
Responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the development of Facility Construction for major land, attraction or hotel development (the “Project”), including planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, design, construction, fabrication, delivery, and commissioning required to open the Project within the assigned budget, quality, schedule, creative and guest experience targets.
Major Responsibilities- Construction/Fabrication/Implementation - Responsible for the qualification, procurement, selection, contracting and performance of all Contractors, Vendors, Manufacturers, Fabricators, etc. required to complete the facility development of the Project. Ensure that all project procedures are being followed as it relates to Correspondence, RFIs, Directives, Shop Drawings, Submittals, Meeting Minutes, Punch Lists, Deficiency Lists, Notices, Pay Applications, etc. necessary to successfully implement the new theme park facilities.
- Budget/Scheduling - Responsible for maintaining the overall project budget and schedule within the targeted objectives set forth during project approval.
- Creative/Architectural Development - Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the creative/architectural content done by the Creative team or outside consultants. Responsible for the final delivery of the creative/architectural vision that meets the initial objectives set forth during the concept development.
- Design Management - Responsible for the qualification, procurement, selection, contracting and performance of any and all Architectural, Engineering and Technical Designers hired to complete the facility design phase of the Project. Responsible for the successful completion of the design that meets the creative/architectural intent within the budget and schedule established for the project.
- Personnel Management - Responsible for the hiring and selection of the necessary project team required to implement the project. Responsible for the performance of each of the project team individuals as it relates to the successful opening of new attractions. Responsible for the development and growth of project team.
- Project Reporting - Responsible for the management, tracking and reporting of all the necessary project components inclusive of budget, schedule and progress of the project to upper management. Responsible to maintain accurate documentation necessary to insure a successful project completion within the targeted budget and schedule.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 15-20 years of experience in the development and management of major projects with hospitality/entertainment/theme park experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses in Architecture or Engineering are preferred.
Skills and QualificationsLanguage Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Relevant oil/gas engineering experience and practical application of engineering principles.

The OpportunityArtic Building Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Projects Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our portfolio of building services projects. Based at our Head Office in Dartford, with occasional site visits, you will be instrumental in driving project success from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a pivotal role for a proven leader with significant experience in the M&E and Building Services sector, looking to make a substantial impact on our project delivery capabilities and contribute to the continued growth and success of Artic.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project management strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability across all projects. Actively contribute to business growth and strategic planning.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle for multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring robust planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Drive operational excellence, identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Accountable for project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and ensuring projects achieve commercial targets and profitability. Monitor project performance against key financial metrics.
- Demonstrate a proven history of winning and delivering project works of performance values from £250,000.00 to £3.4 Million with end user and main contractor parties.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers and supporting staff. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure client expectations are not only met but exceeded, fostering repeat business and positive referrals.
- Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture, ensuring all projects adhere to the highest safety standards. Ensure quality control processes are rigorously applied and that all work complies with contractual requirements and industry legislation.
- Optimise the allocation of internal and external resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Extensive proven experience (minimum 10+ years) in a senior project management or director-level role within the M&E / Building Services sector.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex, high-value building services projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with contract negotiation, financial management, and P&L responsibility.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, building regulations, health & safety legislation, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large project teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to occasional site visits.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Results-orientated with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Overview
This position is to support the operations department with janitorial functions. To ensure the successful and timely completion of cleaning buildings; and to maintain an attractive, sanitary and safe environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cleanliness with a focus on detail.
Responsibilities- Dusting desks, chairs, counters, blinds and furniture
- Clean lobby, reception or any other assigned areas by your supervisor
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Spot cleaning
- Refilling supplies and dispensers
- Empty wastebaskets & recycling bins
- Spot Mop floors as necessary
- Wipe down tables and chairs
- Assist janitorial staff for special projects and/or perform any duties as directed by your supervisor
- Clean using appropriate methods, equipment and chemicals by following our established processes and procedures
- Attendance and Punctuality essential function of the position as it requires face to face interaction.
