Provides timely and accurate tickets to customers ensuring the smooth flow of traffic across the scale. Assists in the coordination of truck dispatch orders to ensure maximum efficiency of trucking.

  • Provides excellent customer support to internal and external customers.

  • Ensure that all COD order money is collected and properly documented. Prepare deposit bags in accordance with company policies.

  • Ensures that tickets are verified for numbers, dated and time accuracy and ensurthat customer trucks (internal and external customers) leave the yard properly loaded.

  • Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are followed at all times.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.




WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

You will operate power equipment more than half of your working hours. High Lift Operators are also responsible for handling full cases of product, including consistent lifting of cartons and merchandise on/off conveyor lines, pallets and other storage containers. You will maintain and verify documentation and information to facilitate flow of merchandise through the distribution center. For this role, you must successfully complete Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) classroom training and pass a written test for all PIV equipment that you would operate. Additionally, you must complete and pass a PIV driver training course with verbal commands lasting up to two weeks taught in English.

The Merchandise Processor is responsible for processing various types of merchandise (that can weigh up to 25 lbs., 11.3 kg) for the Distribution Centers by using standard procedures for our brand. Within this role, you will be picking, packing or storing merchandise according to procedures, while using a radio frequency (RF) scanner, and ensuring the quality expectations of the business. It requires steady, fast-paced work and focuses on the accurate picking/packing of many items.

The Outbound Loader is responsible for consistent loading of outbound merchandise, promotional store sets, and store supplies into semi-trailers. You will lift, stack, and load merchandise cartons onto and off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, etc. This role loads cartons of 30 lbs.,13.6 kg. to 75 lbs, 34 kg. 100% of working hours. SUMMARY

The Library Specialist-Evening Lead reports to the Director of Library Services and is responsible for overseeing the library in the evenings and assisting with administrative tasks. SUMMARY

The Director of Major Gifts works within a collaborative and motivated Development Team that seeks to build and enhance relationships with constituents for the purpose of increasing philanthropic support for CCAD. Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Engagement, the Director of Major Gifts works closely with the President, senior leadership, and the Board of Trustees on donor identification, engagement, strategy, and stewardship. By building and supporting authentic relationships, the Director of Major Gifts will cultivate multi-year commitments to secure gifts above $25,000 that are aligned with the donor's philanthropic interest and the college's needs. The Director of Major Gifts collaborates closely with the full Development Team and will supervise the Major Gifts Associate. The right candidate will have an authentic enthusiasm for building relationships, a curiosity about others' interests, and the skill of connecting those passions to CCAD's mission. Self-direction and timely follow through are critical for success in this position.

This full-time position requires primary in-person presence in the office, with limited work-from-home opportunity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with the vice president for institutional engagement, president, and director of donor relations to develop and execute the college's philanthropic strategies and tactics for all giving levels, with a focus on a multi-year major gift strategy - integrating planned giving, defined tactics, and success metrics
  • Build and manage a portfolio of major and leadership gift prospects and donors with the capacity to make gifts of $25,000 and more; portfolio management to include portfolio strategy and set up, prospect identification and qualification, cultivation and engagement, stewardship, and portfolio assessment
  • Collaborate with director of donor relations and the VP of IE on the strategy for high touch stewardship for all major donor relationships including those managed by the president, the VP for IE, and the major gifts associate
  • Utilize research and strong relationship management strategies to expand and strengthen the college's pipeline of potential donors
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the mission and priorities of the college and make a persuasive verbal and written case for supporting key programs and projects, effectively matching the interests of prospects to specific opportunities at CCAD
  • Work across departments and program areas to develop engagement and recognition opportunities for major gift donors
  • Travel regionally and nationally to share impact stories and to engage alumni donor prospects as well as current and prospective donors
  • Supervise, guide, and coach the major gifts associate, who will have their own portfolio of major gift donors, as outlined in the Supervisory Responsibilities below
  • Utilize Raiser's Edge to generate reports and gather, record, and properly document information about prospects and donors
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special events related to major donor prospects, stewardship, and alumni relations
  • Interact closely with the Board of Trustees, former trustees, and other major donors to ensure sustained engagement with the college
  • Represent CCAD at internal and external events; attend targeted events to network with current donors, prospective donors, and community partners; this may require out of state travel as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position supervises the major gifts associate and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with CCAD's policies and applicable laws. In coordination with the VP for IE, the director of major gift's responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training the employee; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; motivating and incentivizing strong performance; and addressing performance improvement needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or post-graduate training and education in fundraising and development preferred
  • Minimum of five years successful experience in development required with direct experience cultivating and soliciting major gifts
  • Prior experience supervising employees preferred
  • Development work within a higher education and/or arts organization preferred

Program Coordinator for Inclusion & Leadership Development

SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator for Inclusion & Leadership Development (Coordinator) oversees all student-facing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as all leadership programs for students. The primary focus of the role is to develop, execute, and integrate strategies and ongoing initiatives that promote an affirming culture of intentional inclusivity on campus –specifically, the development of initiatives that seek to facilitate the personal and academic success of marginalized student groups through the development of programmatic initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and individual advisement. The role is also responsible for fostering activism within our student body and for promoting a culture of socially engaged and civically minded students. Duties also include assisting the Assistant Dean with creating engagement opportunities for students through a series of signature events, the coordination of climate surveys, and program assessment, as well as serving as the lead advisor to student organizations focused on inclusion and equity education on top of providing operational support to all student organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide direction for equity and inclusion initiatives that support the college's mission and the Division of Student Affairs' learning outcomes;
  • Under the guidance of the Assistant Dean, will plan, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives that promote an affirming culture of intentional inclusiveness on campus and that support marginalized students groups; foster activism within our student body and promote a culture of socially engaged and civically minded students;
  • Apply identity development to all programs, trainings, and retreats;
  • Serve on the CARE Team as a CARE Responder; provide individual support, including referrals, to students in their social, leadership, and identity development;
  • With the Assistant Dean and AVP, provide advocacy and support for students related to bias incidents;
  • Plan heritage months by developing monthly programming and coordinating a campus calendar for each Cultural Heritage month.
  • Pursue and maintain a national LGBTQ+ ranking status as an affirming, inclusive campus;
  • Serve on the institution's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Commission;
  • Serve as primary advisor to all current CCAD student organizations that align with DE&I initiatives;
  • Facilitate inter-organization communication and collaboration; Initiate and plan community building programs and meetings for various student organizations;
  • At the direction of the Assistant Dean, develop and implement policies and processes that support the development and maintenance of student clubs and organizations; assist student leaders of all student organizations with executing completing an events request with the Events Office and oversee requests related to , programs, speakers, and educational opportunities related to the missions of their organizations; provide support for organizations with budgets, contracts, and evening/ weekend event coverage and advisement as needed;
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Student Affairs' signature events;
  • Assist in assessing the student experience as it relates to student engagement and leadership opportunities in clubs/organizations;
  • Supports the college's retention efforts through individual interventions with students;
  • Serve on the CHROMA committee, a committee of faculty, staff and students. Chroma: Best of CCAD is our annual exhibition of outstanding student work, selected and curated by faculty.
  • Serve as student portal administrator you are the central manager of the digital platform students use to access academic resources, administrative services, and college communications. Your role ensures the portal is functional, secure, and user-friendly, supporting the academic and administrative needs of the student body.
  • Serve on cross-functional work teams and committees as directed;
  • This position is a key role in student services administration. The individual is expected to maintain a spirit of professionalism, diplomacy, and tact. This position requires the need to be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to communicate effectively –both verbally and in writing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in student affairs, higher education or a related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience, which may include graduate level positions. Experience in successfully implementing diversity education and multicultural student support strategies on a college campus preferred.
  • Experience in advising student organizations, student programming boards, student government and/or supervising student leaders preferred.

SUMMARY

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid reports to the Associate Vice President for Financial Aid & Student Records and fulfills a variety of administrative and professional activities designed to serve our student body and meet the strategic enrollment goals of the college. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, counseling students and families, data entry and analytics, researching regulations, reconciling fund balances, evaluating processes and procedures, sending and receiving electronic files and supervising student workers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Aid Counseling & Communication


 

  • Primary lead role responsible for all financial aid communications to prospective and current students, including documents and communication creation, annual editing, and scheduling of all communications.
  • Works with new and continuing students and their parents regarding the application for and renewal of financial aid as it pertains to accessing enrollment and satisfying their student account balances
  • Participates in monitoring financial aid email account and addresses communications accordingly
  • Reviews and packages new and continuing students recognizing the difference between consistent administrative functions and unique professional judgment that may be needed case by case
  • Reviews and updates financial aid forms and web presence


 

Financial Aid Administration

  • Responsible for Pell Grant Administration, including origination, updates, and reconciliation
  • Assists in data integration processes, trouble-shooting and process improvement
  • Collects documentation from students and parents to ensure compliance with federal, state and institutional awarding guidelines
  • Reviews and processes Federal Direct Loan Programs on behalf of eligible students and/or eligible parents
  • Submits, receives and reconciles electronic records in administration of federal financial aid programs exercising accuracy and time management skills
  • Monitors annual Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for students and reviews and processes appeals and communications
  • Work with a variety of alternative loan programs and third-party scholarship agencies to secure funding for students
  • Assists with Admission events designed to recruit and yield prospective students
  • Collaborates with appropriate personnel in other college departments including, but not limited to, Academic Advising, Bursar, Registrar and One Stop to carry out financial aid processes and properly advise students
  • Supports and assists the AVP for Financial Aid, and provides back-up for annual audit preparation, streamline processes, CRM system set-up and preparation for new award cycle and required institutional reporting (FISAP, Census, IPEDS, etc.)Researches financial aid regulations to ensure compliance and maintain institutional eligibility
  • Assist AVP for Financial Aid in training and mentoring Admission Counselors, Student Services Associate and Financial Aid Counselor, as needed.
  • Supervise student employee projects as needed.
  • Accepts that occasional evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
