ABOUT THE ROLE
This position reports to the Electrical Supervisor. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. The primary objective of this position is to perform electrical /maintenance processes through the proper installation, repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment.
WHAT YOULL ACCOMPLISH
- Safely perform simple to complex electrical repairs and installs within a manufacturing setting.
- Responsible for planning jobs as needed.
- Responsible for electrical design and installation.
- Documents new and existing electrical installations as needed.
- Repairs critical equipment with available parts.
- Installs, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs PLC and HMI systems.
- Ensures compliance with internal control procedures, unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment.
- Ability to operate equipment effectively.
- Must be able to complete required training.
- Must be able to communicate to multiple levels within the organization.
- Must keep all company property in good working order and clean.
- Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Required Education: Associates degree in the electrical or electronics field, or 5+ years of equivalent training or experience.
Required Work Experience: 5+ years
Required License: Current electrical journeyman
Additional Requirements:
- Working knowledge of PLC programming, experience with CTI 505 and Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred.
- Knowledge of HMI programming is preferred.
- Electrical and mechanical skills are required.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
