Key Responsibilities
- Commission Honeywell BAS solutions by installing pre-engineered software, performing system checkouts, and ensuring accurate system operation per specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, including redesign or re-engineering when needed.
- Execute open system and third-party integrations across multiple protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON).
- Drive continuous improvement in commissioning practices by leveraging Honeywell Operating System techniques and productivity tools.
- Collaborate with contractors, customers, and design/engineering teams to ensure proper scope alignment, hardware/software configuration, graphics, and as-built documentation.

As an Experienced BAS Field Service Engineer with Honeywell, youll play a critical role in commissioning, servicing, and optimizing building automation systems-including HVAC, fire, and security-across commercial facilities such as office complexes, schools, universities, airports, and hospitals.
Based anywhere in the Southeast region near a major airport, youll work closely with in-house engineers, contractors, and customers to deliver seamless system integration, startup, and performance that meet or exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission Honeywell BAS solutions by installing pre-engineered software, performing system checkouts, and ensuring accurate system operation per specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, including redesign or re-engineering when needed.
