Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)

- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
IR Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. IR Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

**Job Title: Night Telemetry RN (3x12-Hour Shifts)**
**Shift:** Night Shift (18:45 - 07:15)
**Contract Duration:** 13 to 26 weeks
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team for night shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for the care of patients in a telemetry environment, focusing on cardiac patients with a variety of diagnoses, including Congestive Heart Failure and Arrhythmias. Our unit prides itself on providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
**Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for dysrhythmias and provide remote monitoring.
- Administer pre and post-care for cardiac catheterization and surgeries, including sheath removal.
- Manage and care for central lines and peripheral IVs, oversee blood product administration, and titrate cardiac drip medications such as Diltiazem and Amiodarone.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize medical systems such as EPIC and Pyxis.
- Provide patient education and support, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
- Adhere to unit policies, including holiday coverage and mandatory orientation requirements.
- Float to other units as needed, based on patient care needs and census.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry or PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
- Experience in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring.
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ability to float to other units and adjust to changing patient care needs.
- Candidates must successfully pass EKG testing prior to starting.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Charge nurse experience is a plus.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
**Additional Details:**
- Patient Ratios: 1:6-7 during night shifts.
- Weekend coverage includes 5-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
- Orientation: 24 hours prior to starting the assignment.
- Scrubs required: Navy blue.
